the song was written as "Black Pussy".

also, Mick came up with the riff oft attributed to Keef. Mick was in Australia filming "Ned Kelly" and bashed around on a guitar during the shoot.

Black pussy is still pink on the inside, and makes me feel oh so good.

I'm imagining photos of these 4 bands in a square, with "one of these things is not like the other" playing in the background.

Yep. One of the few good Stone's songs that Mick wrote the majority of. Recorded at Muscle Shoals without their then-current record company's knowledge. Supposedly it's mainly Mick and the house musicians, Keef overdubbed the guitar WAY later.

Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street. I'm not much of a Stones fan, but those two are required owning.

Good lord. Do we have a name for neo-hipsters who hate famous bands? Seriously, hating the Stones is like hating the Beatles is like hating Zep is like hating Dylan, at this point.

They're iconic. You don't have to like them, but 'hating' them is like 'hating' the letter A. It's a bizarre and almost entirely abstract concept to the point of ridiculousness. They're the basis of almost all our modern rock/pop/etc. groups in one form or fashion.

So Mick wrote love letters to a scarred old slaver?

"When a serious historian finally examines how and why Britain's boy bands affected international culture and politics, this well-preserved collection of Mick Jagger's hand written letters will be a revelation," she said in a statement distributed by the auction house.

Wait a minute... Is she actually saying the Rolling Stones were a "boy band"? Do people even think about what they're saying before they open their yaps anymore?
