No one expects it to last. Wouldn't it be shocking if it did.

Felton and Melo look great. It's gonna be interesting to see what Woodson does with the rotation when Amare is back.

There are only two things that can stop this team from a long postseason run:
1. Health issues
2. The Miami Heat

3. Age

It's an OLD team.

But the chemistry is fantastic. People have been talking about how great this team is getting along.

If this keeps up, people aren't going to mind what happened to Lin, but they'll have RA Dickey to complain about.

They're better! Maybe they'll last an extra game longer than usual before bowing out in the first round of the playoffs, then.

I hate to agree with you on this, but you're probably right. Maybe they can play well enough to get a more favorable match-up and maybe get out of round one, but any road to a championship that goes through the Heat is going to be a tough one for the Knicks.

I figured age was implied with the health issues...

But agreed, it seems like everyone's buying into Woodson's system. It's like they all suddenly learned how to play D

It's only four games into the season!! If they stay healthy through to the playoffs, then good. But it's a long way any may games to April.

Yeah, and this time I wouldn't blame the Knicks' penchant for "being the Knicks" as now there are just better teams in the conference. Not unlike the MJ days when NY would probably have a championship or two under Ewing if it weren't for those meddling Bulls.

As a Nuggets fan, I'm no stranger to one-and-dones. They're kind of the same boat with NY as OKC seems to be the class of the conference for at least another year or two. Still, I'm high on Iguodala (great acquisition), Ty Lawson, meat in the paint (McGee, when not a moron) and our depth is pretty solid. I'm hoping for a solid showing in the WCF.

How about a Knicks-Nuggets Finals?

So the Rockets win another championship? Media will go crazy if Lin gets a ring this year

Also the majestic Detroit Pistons have yet to win a game. Looks like the Bobcats record won't stand for long.

are we gonna have a thread everyday about the samething?
its the knicks theyll find a way to choke

I'm pretty sure you're legally obligated to say "Lin-sane" or some variant in place of "crazy".

As someone who was drafted to the nuggets in nba 2k13 i agree they are a very solid team.

I think pacers heat in ECF

Lakers will be back soon. They just got Phil Jackson back.

Quietly? It's all I farking hear about. UNDEFEATED KNICKS! shiatTY LAKERS! UNDEFEATED KNICKS! shiatTY LAKERS! OOOOOH PHIL JACKSON! Rinse and repeat.

OK. The whole Mayan calendar stuff doesn't do anything to me, but man... Knicks 4-0? Man, that's some kind of scary end-of-the-world shiat, right there.

I wouldn't say I'm lamenting , Bob

And they still didn't win the championship that year, which was their best chance during the buzzsaw Bulls dynasty.

/go Bulls

And the Twolves are 4-1 without Love and Rubio. What I'm getting at is that nothing matters in November unless you go 1-4 with 4 hall of fame caliber players.

unfortunately the game can't recognize my name Moist Dinosaur, so I chose the nickname The Wizard

We should wait until at least January before we should buy into any up and coming or surprise team.

Are people forgetting about the Sixers this year? Bynum will clog the paint and get the much needed rebounding and shot-blocking the Sixers ever so need, IF HE CAN STAY HEALTHY. This combined with one of the best defenses could wreak some havoc come playoff time. Might I ass, they have a great bench.

add, not ass

IF they can somehow get the 2 seed in the East, then they MIGHT make it to the Eastern Conference Finals. But the question about an old team isn't how they start, it's how they do in late January health-wise.

/Sheed and Camby in their primes would've been an awesome front court

4-0 to start basketball season? How is that news? That's like an NFL team winning its first game and leading its second game after the first quarter.

I think the Sixers are going to take a step back from last year. While a lot of people from Philly may have hated on Brand and Iggy, they both helped a lot on defense. Bynum will not make up for them.

Hopefully all the people who jumped ship because of the Lin non-extension aren't pretending like they like the team again.

/of course they are
