That doesn't look phallic at all, and anybody who thinks it does has some real issues with their head. Like, serious perv issues.

Actually, it looks like a "time-lapse" image showing 1 climber going up and down a needle-like mountain.

And why exactly did it take months of planning to say, "OK guys when you're at an equal distance along the rope, stand still for a second"?

Photograph of 28 climbers on needle mountain that looks like it has been photoshopped

It may look like it has been through some serious digital altering to show the progress of one climber trekking across a mountain top, known as time-lapse photography, but in fact this shot has not been tampered with at all.

This incredible snap show not one, but 28 climbers

Swiss photographer Robert Boesch's image looks as if it has been though Photoshop, but the scene, shot for Swiss extreme sports company Mammut, has not been doctored with at all.

Mind trick: The photo looks as if it has been altered to show a time-lapse, but is in fact a row of climbers in perfect harmony on a mountain in the Italian Alps

It was taken on the 'Ago del Torrone', perched 3,000ft above sea level, and took five hours of climbing and preparation in freezing temperature.

Perfection: The project took months of planning and over five hours of climbing and positioning to get the climbers just right

'It took several months of organisation and I am really happy with the results.

'It took five hours to climb and required plenty of preparation.

ALRIGHT WE GET IT!

comments FTFA are pretty funny

"Wasn't really worth the effort was it."
"Why? To take a picture of this useless feat."

How does this rate on the perfect harmony scale, in relation to 'side by side on my piano keyboard'?

Slightly more than it would on the 'Old Fashion Love Song' scale.

I think it's just tragic that they couldn't spend that time and money on like a good cause. Like, feeding the squirrels in the inner city parks. I mean, like get real people. Those squirrels didn't ask to live in a neighborhood without park benches or popcorn stands. I know! It's like, whatever you do to the least of us, man. Like, whatever.

guy 1: it would be cool to show a time lapse of someone climbing this mountain.

guy2: no, what if we got a bunch of people and made it LOOK like a time lapse, but it wouldn't actually be one.

guy1: yeah, then people wouldn't know..

sadly they didn't get to the point when they realized it really wasn't that cool at all, and kinda lame.
this just seems like a waste of time that could have been done with a good time lapse.
