Oy. These idiots don't realize that by failing to cooperate with Obamacare they are giving the Federal Government MORE power. If a state does not set up an exchange, the Fed do it for them.

Once all the provisions take effect in 2014, the GOP is toast. The average American citizen is going to love Obamacare, if they don't already.

I tried to point that out to my fellow Missourians. they just wanted to stick it to Obama though. I even worded it that by passing the resolution they were ceding state power to the Obama administration to set up the exchange without legislative oversight.

Despite my state going 80% red this election, Georgia has already established the framework for the federal insurance outlets. No intelligent Governor would be so stupid as to turn away a program supported almost entirely by the federal government, benefits his constituency, and cements his reputation as a caring leader.

My health insurance premiums actually went down this year. And starting in 2014 I can't be denied for my preexisting conditions by private insurers, so I'm really looking forward to it going forward.

As a moderate, I was highly skeptical of the idea that this election was a Republican victory. But as I read more and more of NRO, WorldNetDaily, the Obama Sucks Forums, and Hitlerpedia (a conservative alternative to Conservapedia), I began to realize how true this was. We won, even when we lost. It's called a reverse mandate. It means that Democrats may have won the popular vote, but in reality, conservatives won the popular popular vote, which means that they won the popular vote with those who are "popular", i.e. "successful", i.e. "the job creators". It's hilarious. Even when liberals win, they lose. LOL!!!

So, that leaves out Rick Perry. And Rick Scott. And Sam Brownback. And Jan Brewer. And Tom Corbett. And probably a dozen more I can't think of immediately.

I both got a refund for the insurance company overcharging us this year, as well as an year over year decrease of 14% for premiums next year.

Obamacare was responsible for both. I'm loving it thusfar.

In spite of what the election might have led you to believe to the contrary the majority of the people remain opposed to ObamaCare. So I have to again ask that when 50.000001 of the population is against anything Democrats support then we're ignoring the will the people by not doing it but when more than 50% of the people consistently don't want ObamaCare the president continues to stick a huge middle finger in their face and tell them to go F themselves.

really? they do? I looked into this, and I make just enough that I don't qualify for medicaid, and the cost of health insurance is high enough that it costs roughly 1/4 of my net takehome. Means i have about $800 to pay all bills and living expenses for two weeks after paying that week's insurance premium.

My insurance premiums are also increasing next year. Clearly, this is a direct result of the Affordable Care Act, even though my insurance premiums increased similarly several years previously, prior to the passage of the Affordable Care Act.

Yeah, it's almost like health insurance companies are a private business out to make a profit, minimize costs, and look at insurance policies as risk-reward calculations...

Yet most of the individual provisions of the ACA have over 65% approval if they arn't told that it is actually in Obamacare, then when people are asked if they like Obamacare they say "no"...it's almost as if people don't care what is in the law, but just want to hate it out of spite...

I'm currently insured by the state's insurer of last resort, because it's the only insurance company required to take me. My coverage is horrible and god awful for that very reason. Because I'm not insured through my employer, prospective insurers can elect not to cover me due to preexisting conditions. I've been denied three times, even though my preexisting conditions have been resolved/dormant for many years.

I'm sure you have the same sentiment about the will of the people regarding increasing taxes on the wealthy which is supported by something close to 70% of the people and the GOP continues to stick a huge middle finger in their face and tell them to go F themselves.
