simplicimus: Notabunny: randomjsa: The truth? A winner in this election? So that means after running one of the most dishonest and dishonorable campaigns in history the Obama administration is going to straight right up and start telling the truth? That's what the headline means... right?

Because if you're suggesting that "the truth" is what won this election then check yourself in to a mental institution post haste before you hurt somebody or yourself.

Duuuude... C'mon, man. We've all had fun being a partisan hack now and then, but the election is over and it time to assess and conclude and make fact-based plans to move forward.

Nah, I think randomjism is pulling an Andy Kaufman on us. He's not going to go out of character.

that's why he sure is a nice green color.

An article about truth and it still spews forth the tripe that Mitt was somehow authentic in that first debate instead of a lying liar who got away with lots of lies.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Something must be wrong. The word 'Benghazi' doesn't appear anywhere in your post.

it would interesting to see the brake down by percentage that voted Obama or Romney instead of just blue or red

When Lies still won 48% of the vote, that's almost a pyrrhic victory for Truth.

What did Obama lie about? Honestly, I recall one sleazy thing the Obama campaign distanced themselves from and that was it.

Oh, I see. You're confused. Obama was the DEMOCRATIC candidate, not Romney. You've got them backwards.

Headso: CynicalLA: The real question is if the people in the echo chamber are going to start questioning their news sources or double down on the insanity.

based on the rhetoric it seems like they are blaming the liebral-leftist-lamestream-driveby-media-conspiracy, the hurricane, and chris christie for walking near Obama. Have not seen any introspection yet.

NeverDrunk23: CynicalLA: The real question is if the people in the echo chamber are going to start questioning their news sources or double down on the insanity.

They are angrier at 'liberal' sources that told the truth instead of their own sources that essentially lied to them everyday.

HotWingConspiracy: CynicalLA: The real question is if the people in the echo chamber are going to start questioning their news sources or double down on the insanity.

They're relying on fox to explain why everyone on fox has been wrong for months on end. So far they've come up with "because the blacks", which will always do in a pinch for these people.

Your Zionist Leader: CynicalLA: The real question is if the people in the echo chamber are going to start questioning their news sources or double down on the insanity.

From what I've seen on my facebook feed, they aren't stopping at doubling down. They've pretty much jumped all the way to plaid

I just hope their are some that realize they are being duped.

Some. Some have accepted they were duped but they don't know any other way to get info. Most of the Texans I know that have recovered enough to talk about the election are thinking they weren't duped but "millions" of Republicans decided not vote and it's all THEIR fault, the rinos. They appear to be getting this line from Michael Berry.

Notabunny: fta Obama's campaign, according to Michael Scherer of Time, was running 66,000 electoral simulations every night on a massive database of polls and voter contact information. That's how the campaign knew its precise standing in each swing state and allocated resources so that it swept all but North Carolina. Romney, on the other hand, was "shellshocked" by the returns,

You know what, Republicans? You have some good ideas. Your party can serve a cause larger than yourselves. But it's time for you to join us in the reality-based community. Believe it or not, you're still welcomed here.

As I said a few weeks before the election, it was theirs to lose...and they lost big time. They believed their own spinmeisters and just HAD to pander to the hard-right ultranationalist fringies, god-botherers and rape-freaks. And they had to follow the extremists already in office who wanted to ensure Obama was a one-term president by being as obstructionist and mean as they possibly could. If they'd compromised on the budget or shown themselves to be willing to meet Obama halfway ANY TIME during the last year, they'd have been heroes. He wouldn't have had anything to attack them on. But they couldn't unbend enough to do that, because it would have meant--in their minds--looking bad to somebody or other.

When compromise becomes a dirty word, then you put yourself in the untenable position of never compromising; and then you look bad to everyone. If the GOP had compromised, they would have won the center they needed to win this election. But they couldn't, because they convinced themselves that would be BAD...and it was. For them. Now if they can abandon the freak-show that the Tea Party has become, they could return to a little more centrist position and probably win back their place. Who else can the Teahadists vote for? They sure won't be voting Democrat anytime soon! But we'll have to see if that occurs to the Republicans.

Benghazi. It's going to be him impeached. Too bad the Senate won't do anything. Arming rebels and their Al-qesadilla allies is a bad thing.

Yeah, just like Reagan was impeached for arming the Taliban....

I think they USED to have some good ideas, but they've now rejected them all. Now it's all: restrict women, restrict gays, and give the wealthy all the money that they don't already have.

Republicans are not interested in Truth. they are interested only in themselves and their money (which they have convinced themselves that the black guy is trying to steal)

Republicans are a classic example of Capitalism run amuck. Capitalism without any accountability.
