Good to know they have their priorities in order.

$200 for a haircut? Fark that nonsense...it takes my gal 10 minutes with a pair of clippers and even then the $20 I shell out is probably too much.

Parents are homeless for an undetermined amount of time. Luckily my father has no hair.

So.
Here we are on Nov. 9, looking at an article that was published on Nov 7, about events that took place on Oct. 30. Glad to see everyone working so hard all up and down the line!

Especially endearing for an article highlighting the struggles of New Yorkers for the bare essentials (not so much) is the popup ad for high-end gold, silver, and diamond bracelets. If you've got to suffer, it takes a New Yorker to make it real.

Many will also claim that this event has been the best weight loss program ever. "everything in the fridge went bad, and I couldn't find a restaurant that had power to cook so the pounds just started melting off"

The great clips by me has a $7.95 sale about once a month. #3 on the sides, #4 on the top, 10 minutes an 8 bucks and I'm done.

Don't laugh, I have a fancypants wedding to go to tomorrow, and need a haircut. the 2 places I would normally go to were both knocked out, and every place else I'd consider is booked solid.

Yet another failure of FEMA if you ask me.

Is there some sort of mandatory minimum number of NY attention-whoring articles required per day?

I ride my bike to the local fade shop. The barbers there are MUCH more attentive to what they're doing than any McHaircut place ever was. It's about 15 bucks, but worth it. They even give you an old fashioned shave.

I hate shaving. I actually considered just going in once/wk for a shave so I didn't have to do it.

I go to the Mexican salon across the street from my house.
$12.00 and they do a really great job.
Everybody walks out of there looking like a movie star.
They're the best neighborhood business on the block, too.
