I take it you never played "Tie Fighter"?

Loved that game.

Always wanted to own the sitdown version of this game. Chuck E. Cheese - back then it was Showbiz - had it when I was a kid. While all the others were playing ski-ball and thrashing around in the germ infested ball pit, I was on a mission to destroy the Death Star.

You're confused. Think about what you're saying. Why would a Tie Fighter be destroying the Death Star?

We're talking about Tie Fighter.

Blarg...I was talking the game pictured above...I think it was just called Star Wars.

-5 Nerd points for me.

Tie Fighter is one of the best video games of all time.

I would be willing to fork over the cash on an extreme gaming rig and neglect my family for a month if they were to remake it using today's technology (assuming that they didn't ruin it in the process).

Tie Fighter
X-Wing
Dark Forces and Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight

4 games I would give my left testicle to see a remake of. fark the Jedi Knight games after the original! They were good, but the first 2 are masterpieces in my eyes.

I'll still never forget how Dark Forces blew me away from the get go, such an incredible game at the time.

Hmmm... maybe the right word to the right person about Kickstarter?

/loved the arcade Star Wars as well...

I don't know man. Now that Lucasfilm is owned by Disney, I get the sense that making licensed Star Wars games is about to get a whole lot harder.

You and me both.

Hell, I'd be happy as a pig in slop if someone put together for me a functional Win95 box than ran all three of the titles (Xwing, TIE, XvT).

How am I supposed to start a new Angry Birds game when they keep adding levels to the old games?
