(YouTube)   After winning re-election, President Obama talked to his campaign staff. Come for the laughs, stay for the tears. Literally. Obama cries during his talk. A lot   (youtube.com) divider line 24

Obama personally thanks his campaign staff (without a teleprompter).
Romney cuts their credit cards before they leave.

Congrats America! We made the right choice.

We elected an actual human being. That's good, but we dodged a bullet there.

What a lucky coincidence....

I sure hope he kills a bunch of brown people to make up for this show of weakness.

/For fark's sake, even FOX had to admit he has one of the best ground games ever
//These people are THE people that made that possible
///Maybe they work so hard because he IS a genuine guy

Seth'n'Spectrum: DamnYankees: That was odd. Not bad, just odd.

I'm guessing he was really, really tired.

I would imagine that him and Romney both are emotional rags about now. Stress, anxiety, sleep deprivation - It's a life I would never choose in a million years.

I'm over it now: What, no dramatic lip biting a la Bill Clinton?

Somebody must have missed a card for the teleprompter.

Looks like you're not quite over it yet.

I don't why anybody feels there's anything odd about this. When I first saw it yesterday (it was circulated to supporters long before it went viral) it struck me as authentic, sincere and moving, a genuine word of thanks to people he has been very close to for many months. And I'm about as cynical and black-hearted a bastard as you're ever like to meat IRL.

The guy teared up a bit and got a little choked telling his team how much they inspired him. That's not crying, not even a little.

I'd cry too if I knew I just won the POTUS election while at the same time I knew I just won the POTUS election.

As Brian Williams pointed out, the security measures taken to protect the POTUS these days are beyond belief. If I were a father of two and a husband (not to mention the race, religion, political questions), I would be terrified of going out to meet the public knowing crazy guys and hirelings were among the crowd.

Look how much older he looks after 4 years. Obama walks around with the football 24 hours a day. I'd howl like a maniacally sad baby with a full diaper and a rash that needs a quart of Butt Paste.

Yeah, run with that.

Obama's re-election seems to have made the stock market shiat itself.

Yes, moron. Let's see what happened the first time Obama got elected, shall we?

It appears that the DJIA is approximately 50-60% higher than when Obama took office, even after the nasty dip below 7,000 in March 2009. And you're worried about an insignificant drop of 1-2%?

Please keep pulling charts out of your ass, though.  I like pointing out stupidity.

Please please PLEASE put your money where your mouth is and go start investing based on what you imagine those charts to mean. Christmas is coming up and I would love the opportunity to take your money from you so I can buy my family something extra-nice.

I also want into his pants, but that's not for this thread....

Taking from those who have and giving to those who want it is evil.

It's true, the bible says we should take from those who want and give to those that have. I forget where, maybe Leviticus? Leviticus says a lot.

Funny.

Taking from people who work and giving to poor Obama supports who suck the givernments tits is wrong.

You mean corporations?

Hang on - you're saying that it's weird that someone filmed for posterity their boss thanking them for their many months working an often thankless, often exhausting job?

Yeah, I could see if we were living in some weird future world where everyone has recording devices in their pockets at all times this getting captured, but this isn't "The Jetsons", people. We live in the real world and this is an obvious scripted set up.

Heartfelt speech to the people who did the brunt of the heavy lifting for him during the election.

Certainly not the crocodile tears we see from Boehner, at any rate...

Nah. Rmoney's speech would have been "Peasants.Obeyed.Suckers!!".
