You'd think a big time CEO like that could do better than some broad that works at the Waffle House.

FTA: The Associated Press does not identify alleged victims of sexual harassment.

But they don't have any qualms at all about identifying the unconvicted accused.

She wasn't a waitress, of course. She worked out of the CEO's home as an "assistant."

The Marietta Daily Journal reported that Rogers sued the woman in Cobb County Superior Court on Sept. 14, but that the documents had been sealed and both sides agreed not to speak to the news media. The newspaper added that the woman filed a lawsuit against Rogers in Fulton County State Court on Sept. 19, but documents in that case were also sealed.

Just to play Devil's Advocate: it allegedly lasted for ten years. He is a CEO. I would imagine that there were perks for her, as I cannot imagine a job at Waffle House (at least, as a waitress) is overly generous in the compensation department. Now, maybe it was a situation of the guy threatening to ruin her life if she ever told anyone, or maybe he was her sugar daddy and was quite willing at first until he got old/unpleasant/husband found out. Could be that she tried to blackmail him, too, and when it failed then she went to a lawyer and claimed it wasn't consensual.

Or, it could be a case of a powerful man (financially, I can't imagine "CEO of Waffle House" striking awe into the hearts of people) using a woman for his own ends because he knew that he could get away with it. Maybe he threatened to make it so "she cannot work in this town again" or some other financially-related ruinous situation.

Waffle House does have one thing going for it: unlike other -- well, I hesitate to call it a restaurant... food-service establishments, shall we say -- you can actually watch the health and safety violations occurring, so you know when not to eat your food.

Such as the Waffle House near me where you will regularly see raw meat placed on the counter, and then food that will not be cooked further (such as toast) placed on the counter in the exact same spot, without it even being cursorily wiped, let alone sanitized.

Waffle House is, frankly, disgusting. And yet I still eat there once in a blue moon. Does that make me disgusting? I guess so...

And the home address given for Rogers in the police report matches that listed on the Federal Election Commission's website alongside donations the CEO made to unsuccessful presidential candidate Mitt Romney in June 2011 and May of this year.

More Republican rapey rape rape aqusations? Or just rubbing in the loss?
