That reminds me of those hippies, squatters, and starbucks clerks I read about trying to give advice to wall street on how to run an international banking system.
"And here are the Suicide Nets on our buildings. Having employee's families sign contracts stating they will NOT sue us when our employees commit suicide simply wasn't working. We prevented payouts, but we still lost precious hours of productivity in messy cleanup... so we installed nets!"

sethstorm:JackieRabbit: Farking Fox can turn anything into a lie. The truth is that Apple's request (requirement?), Foxconn is considering opening a factory in the US and transfer iPhone manufacturing to it.
As long as it's not in an RTW state and with a significant (non-Apple) US controlling interest, perhaps it would work well.
Maybe after a few years of growing pains. We will need to transition some of our Mexican slaves from agriculture to tech. It won't happen overnight.
You know what Foxconn? We'll keep the design, support infrastructure jobs for those iThingies here and you can keep the mindless insert tab A into slot B jobs and environmental disaster for yourself.
