Oxford Gangnam style

That kind of sounds redundant given the snootiness of Oxford.

It's Daily Fail, meaning 90% is just pictures. So....yeah.

Anyway I know some people wish this would just go away but I hope it sticks around as long as possible. Things like this are the reason the internet is so awesome. Some guy almost nobody outside of Korea has heard of makes a humorous, self-aware music video and in a few months he's speaking at Oxford. Never would have happened twenty years ago. Hell may not have happened ten years ago.

Even though I'm tired of the song, I think Psy has (accidentally) done a lot more for race relations than people realize. All over the world, there are people dancing to and loving a song made by some random Korean guy. Homophobic frat guys and young suburbanites who have never seen anyone outside of their own race are interacting with other countries on a very real and very human level. It speaks to how far we've come.

Ah yes. Reminds me of my frat days, back in rural Wyoming, when "Who let the dogs out" was on the charts. Ever since then I've been totally OK with teh blacks and ugly women.

Psy is actually pretty funny ... and seems to know how hard it is going to be to follow up Gangnam Style.

I remember when the Macarena was the hot jam...and we wore onions on our belts.
