To be fair, if it were a republican it would have been groping underage boys.

FTA: "The former political powerbroker faced token opposition from Garcia, a 26-year-old college dropout who ran at the urging of his mother-in-law."

I think I found the problem...

It's not that Democratic candidates are less of politicians somehow, guys.

It's that modern Republicans are just so crazy that the usual disgusting nonsense associated with politics looks like something you want at your family kitchen table in comparison. Run some folks that are reasonable and you'll gain seats, it's very easy to do.

Imagine if Garcia had been elected...that would have been hysterical. You could write a sit-com about it.

Actually, you could write a pretty good sit-com about it. I'd watch it.

Wow so an experienced politician accused of something beat a 26 year old college drop out nobody ever heard of? Must be cuz he's a democrat.

So Republicans failed to put up a remotely viable alternative, which is proof that Democrats don't care about women - ok, sure, whatever.

He can easily get his own office at Fox News with that alone. If he's wealthy and white and talks loudly he can probably get his own TV segment.

Tell you what, if you can prove that he did it, rather than there just being accusations, we can throw him in prison. Until then, let's go with "innocent until proven guilty".

He's a 26-year-old screwup from Brooklyn. She's his pushy mother-in-law. When Richy Garcia accidentally got elected to the New York State Assembly, life sure got hectic! Now Richy must balance life with three kids, delightfully kooky ethnic neighbors, a misbehaving family dog, and a mother-in-law that not only runs the family but is also his Chief of Staff! Tune in to Representative Democrazy, Tuesday nights on the WB.

Hah, no! We have to make every celebrity and public figure guilty immediately! That way we can milk more air time out of Nancy Grace's biatchfest when they're acquitted!

/Stars always get away with everything!
//Turns out, they're also accused of everything.

Assuming this is true, then he isn't a particularly nice person, and he should be punished for his crimes. However that doesn't really reflect on his policies. He might still be the best person for the job, just not a nice person in general.

Look at the bright side... it's not like they re-elected a guy who hasn't shown his face for 6 months and isn't able to go back to work as yet...

Yup... demonize Republicans to the point where you'll elect literally anyone no matter how corrupt they are... it's all Republicans fault that they made Democrats vote for a known crook.

Or a guy who is a convicted felon by over 68% of the vote. Link
