Since no one wants to read it, here's the summary.

China, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and a whole bunch of other repressive/controlling nations want to restrict shiat on the internet, and they're upset that the only people who can swing that today are US corporations enabled by the US govt. So they want in for no justifiable reason.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see that the Republican chairman of the Communications and Technology Subcommittee is someone that at least has a Bachelor of Science degree and owned radio stations. The way things have been going in the House, I was expecting him to be a devout Amish Mennonite.
