"Millions need to LEARN TO USE THE FARKING INTERNET OR GET THE FARK OFF"

I believe this quote comes from the drunken butter-shots lady's rant.

Sadly for her "using the internet" seems to be using google to turn up evidence that confirms what you wish were true.

The internet? I find myself explaining how time works to people! I've sat in a meeting and had to explain that although we built the auditing feature they wanted, it will only start auditing now, and cannot have started auditing since before we conceived it.

I have had to explain the difference between the TO: and CC: fields and what they each indicate.

I have had to explain very, very basic concepts about how work is assigned, how to let someone know you're finished with something, or why planning is important. All to grown adults who have graduated college, who are at work getting paid. I wish I remembered all the "duh!" moments I've had throughout my career, but I think I've blocked them out to protect my sanity.

People are stupid.

No, no, no. The never-ending stream of people who are completely mystified by computers provides me with a stable, well-paid and mostly enjoyable job. Besides, I've come to the conclusion that no matter how much training you throw at them, 10-20 percent of the folks I work with will never, ever achieve even a rudimentary understanding of how the Internet works.
