Exactly. Let's see the GOP try something when they get laid out on the floor of the House.

Clinton/Warren seems like a pretty solid ticket.

She's my Senator, and I voted for her - but no. She should not be anywhere near the Presidency.

I don't think so. He's not very charismatic, and he's very northeastern.

Hillary will be almost 70 in 2016, which I hate to say would be pushing it. Sen. Amy Khlobuchar from MN has shown broad bipartisan appeal and is super smart. I have no idea if she is remotely interested in the job, but she would be good at it.

They'd want someone on the ticket to appeal to the old white male demographic.

Clinton/Udall or Warren/Udall or Clinton/Salazar or Warren/Salazar would work though.

Unless Obama moves to the far left in the next 2-4 years, there will never be another Republican president. Too many people have decided they want free stuff and the democrats oblige them.

Yes, wanting some return on taxes instead of wasting them on wars and the wealthy is the same as wanting free stuff.

I do hope you are right though. Look at the bright side. You can move to Somalia, where they don't even have a government in much of the country and the only free stuff there comes from international aid organizations.

The Tea Party will take a hard, honest look at the demographic shift of our nation and shriek "Ted Nugent/Victoria Jackson '16!"

As a former republican voter, I agree with you that it's unlikely to get many republican presidents in the next few elections, but I disagree with why.

The fact of the matter is that the republican party in the Bush years scared the general public so much, that even after four years of a down economy under a democratic president that they still distrust republicans.

This election was more about trust than anything else. I expected a better economy by now. That said, I trust the democratic party, led by Obama to do a better job than any party filled with nothing but rhetoric that absolutely refuses to recognize the legitimately good things that Obama's administration led.

TLDR: As a veteran of a war and former republican voter to republican party members: most of y'all scare me so much that I'm not voting for you anytime soon.

So all the PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMAS who were strangely absent from Fark yesterday are trickling back with the "people want free stuff" talking point shiatposting. Interesting.
