I so wish we had pics of the Black Widow we saw at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. Holy farking hell she was ridiculously hot.

What, was he comatose?

Both Jokers are pretty damned good.

Zombie Joker?

2012-11-07 08:53:05 PM
Whoa.

How weird would it be to see that guy, and hear him talk in a completely-Joker-inappropriate voice? Like Screech.

I've never been to a comic-con but I have the idea in my head that most of the really hot cosplay girls are simply plants from the companies. No, they don't wear name tags or hand out literature, but they are most certainly 'actors'

Am I wrong?

Because in addition to all being hot and insanely crafty at costume design, they all seem too young to "embrace" the geek-ness.

I'd say 8 out of 10 cosplay girls are plants. Am I right?

2012-11-07 08:56:46 PM
Both the Jokers were pretty decent, but for my money I'll take the cutie done up as the 10th Doctor.

2012-11-07 08:56:58 PM
I'm pretty sure I saw that exact Deadpool at AX this year. I called her Spiderman, she threw a fit, so I topped it off with a Red Hood and she stormed off super pissed off. For cosplaying as someone like Deadpool, you should probably have something resembling a sense of humor.

I would rip the fake sideburns off Wolverine and fark the shiat out of that muscle bound power bottom.

While I think it's awesome the son of Han Solo and Jabba the Hutt is teaming up with the son of Boba Fett and the yellow Angry bird, it's stylistically odd.

/why is C-3PO sitting on that girl's head?
//nice that cheney showed up

They're doing the giant chicken and peter griffon as boba fett and han solo from family guy star wars.

Tony Stark
Samara

Maybe, but this is my ex's sister. She's a huge comic book nerd and does this kind of thing for fun:

I always think that cosplay shows us that the most improbable thing about superheroes aren't the powers, or the fact they are always in the right (or wrong) place at the right time, that their friends don't recognize them without glasses. Its the costumes. Unless your superpower is super-stitchery or the ability to stay cool in leather, the costumes can't possibly work.

Yo Subby, Imma let you finish (because that was an awesome Ledger Joker), but that Gene Simmons' Demon was top shelf too.

The non-Heath Joker was at SDCC this year too. He's all over Google.

Subby here. Simmons' Demon is great, almost perfect, but he's missing the iconic tongue. I know that's not his fault since he didn't choose to have a normal tongue, but you gotta have that.

The Ledger Joker just blew me away. I had to keep looking to see if there was any way I could actually tell a difference, and I just can't. The hair, the eyes, the make-up. He's even got that creepy dancing tilt that Joker did throughout the movie.

It was beautifully done. Nice find.

Just realized something from the movie. They make a point of emphasizing the Joker's clothing is hand made with no labels and he had nothing but knives. Just like Bruce Wayne ordering 10000 bat ears to hide the trail, the Joker in his way was hiding his trail.

Fantastic connection, but I'm probably late to the game.

1. Don't tell me they couldn't have recast the Joker for Nolan's last flick. Jeez.

2. The only other one worth a damn was Moe Syzlak. Everything else was the same-old "look at me" crowd of girls in skimpy outfits and guys as macho or comedic icons.

I don't know what the young woman in the green costume with orange frame glasses is supposed to be (23rd pic down). All I do know is she's gorgeous.

Have them bathed and brought to my chambers. And make sure they put those costumes back on.

You know what? F*ck it... they can skip the bathing part altogether.

I would say that average is accurate for the "hot" looking girls. There are exceptions but most are either an industry plant or just skimpied out in a public setting to try to get noticed for her modeling/acting career.

The Star Wars guys are hilariously awesome.

At first thought with cosplay, you think, what a bunch of losers. But then I think hey, they're doing what they love. Can't fault them for that.

However dear fat guys; please stop dressing up as Bane.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. Especially Samara. With all the implied (and actual) lesbian sex in ME you'd think people would cosplay Asari more often.
