writing anything longer than 140 characters on any phone is annoying, much less a book.

Since my Blackberry belongs to my employer, I won't be putting e-books on it. I have tried some e-books on my personal phone. Moon Reader and the Project Gutenberg site are interesting, but I really want something more "book sized than my phone. The price drop on the Barnes & Noble tablet, plus the relative ease of jailbreaking them is getting more appealing.

Dang it, "book" sized.

My co-workers and the faculty we support all use BB's. That's like 40 people.

Next week I get to go to RIM with a few others to see BB10 and play on hardware! I'm excited!

Blackberrys have decent keyboards so it wouldn't be that bad, but still not pleasant. Sounds like it sucks ass, like I'd expect too.

Right on, I love my Bold 9930 . Email race to the death? Any takers...ANY TAKERS!?

You can have my BB Torch from my cold, dead, crooked thumbs

Thumbs-up for the effort, but they're not going to read it anyway. BB users have attention spans measured in picoseconds.

How about a reboot race?

Only gripe I ever had.

Let me know how well those push notification for IOS and Android work out for you.

Hmm haven't found a need for that yet, but I have this neat little thing called "text messaging" on my phone which "pushes" messages to me almost as soon as people send them.

It's a general rule that if the selling point of a book it that it was written by some trendy, unconventional means (but especially something that was trendy ten years ago), the contents will be crap. Some goes for movies shot on iPhones, music performed on iPads and literature composed entirely of Tweets or Facebook statuses

I love my BB too, but it is a dieing breed :(

I have an iPhone and a company issued BlackBerry. The only possible way one could prefer a BlackBerry would have to be if one never used an iPhone or Android phone in their lives. It is inferior in every way.

+1 subby, lol...nobody uses Blackberries anymore, except virtually the entire Forbes 500.

Fortune 500, whatever.

I have a blackberry. As do many of my federal employee colleagues. Yeah, we're behind the times.

No, I have never used an iPhone or smart phone. :(

This. I can see why someone may like an iphone or android more than the other, as both have several pluses and some minuses. There are no plusses on a Blackberry anymore.

THIS!

I cannot wait to ditch my BB and go back to a Droid. Stupidest move I ever made.
