That's one thing I don't understand; I have a serious disrespect of Fox News, but in 2008? Their election map both on their network and online were top of the line, several orders of magnitude better then the other networks. Their online one especially made the other networks look like a Geocities page. This year? It was crap. Didn't they save any of the code/formats from 2008?

I don't understand how they managed such a huge step backwards. Say what you will about Fox's ethics, their competency and production values have always been high; their 2008 website coverage was incredible. Curious as to what happened to all the people who were responsible for that, as they've obviously still not with the company.

Damn shame that it can be a bit pricey, though. Usually runs 12-15 a six pack here in Texas. Local alcohol chain, Specs, has it on sale this week for 9.99 for a six pack or 9.99 for a four pack of their higher end / special brew lines. Dropped 100+ yesterday on their products due to this. :0

When I turned 21 friends took me out to a place just off campus, PK Pizza. This being a college down, every place on main street is a bar/grill/restaurant and most of them had very good food. Waitress came up, rattled out their current alcohol specials, and at the end "Oh, and our main beer special tonight is bottles of Sam Adams for $2.50 a bottle." And I thought to myself, "Wait, isn't Sam Adams currently $5.59 a six pack at Kroger? How the fark is tripling the price a farking special? You whore!"

Gone to Plaid: Department of electrical and computer engineering myself (class of 2003, but I was on the 5 yr plan).

I was always a fan of River Mill burgers, and I sure as fark miss PKs. I was last there in 2010 and Slouvaki's was crap. Maybe I just had a bad gyro but I threw it out after a couple bites.

IIRC, the old man running Souvlakis retired in the early 2000's. Shame, their gyros were damn awesome. :(
