I missed this whole thing last night - I'll have to catch the mash-up.

Interesting recap, but I'm sure this will be featured prominently on The Daily Show and Colbert Report this evening. That's all the Faux News I care to watch.

Four more years of Barack HUSSEIN Obama, biatches. Deal with it.

I couldn't take it last night. I was switching like mad. CNN had the cool map. FOX news was like a comedy routine. MSNBC had Rachel. Click, click, click!

Charles Krauthammer: "As a psychiatrist, I will offer to write prescriptions for anyone who needs them right now."

Okay, I missed Krauthammer but Rove exploding like a water balloon full of rancid shiat on a summer day was nothing short of delicious.

"The crowd is near pandemonium now, despite the fact that unemployment is hovering near 8 percent."

Krauthammer is a psychiatrist? Has he ever attempted to self-diagnose?

2012-11-07 10:18:55 AM
I was laughing until this:

Ed Henry, reporting stone-faced from Obama headquarters as it erupts in jubiliation: "The crowd is near pandemonium now, despite the fact that unemployment is hovering near 8 percent."

That's just asswipey.

Day 1 - It's the media's fault.

Before the Rove meltdown, they kind of threw Romney under the bus and blamed him for not campaigning during Sandy. So the loss wasn't a reflection on the party, just the terrible candidate. Then i had to turn the channel. No more Fox for me until 2016.

The Permanent Republican Majority is right around the corner, don't you worry!

Watching Rove scramble to deny the possibility of an Obama win last night was a nightcap I'll always delight in.

CPennypacker: I couldn't take it last night. I was switching like mad. CNN had the cool map. FOX news was like a comedy routine. MSNBC had Rachel. Click, click, click!

CNN was hedging too much for my tastes, Fox had PA and WI called for Obama before CNN did for fark sake.

I was bouncing between MSNBC with the 30 Rock ice map and Maddow, and Fox because I knew if they called a state for Obama it was a lock.

A lot of money went down the rove hole this year.

The blond chick on Fox had this constant look of "you farkhead americans".

It was awesome.

/didn't vote for Obama either time

This got some likes on my FB page:

"Completely on the level, I have to thank Sheldon Adelson and the Brothers Koch for stimulating the economy so much through their shady but ultimately legal campaign financing shenanigans. Many local media stations, advertising agencies, production houses and talented creative staff thank you for your donations. We're so glad you poured millions into a losing investment!"

note: A terrible candidate that the entire country chose to represent the Republican party because the other options were even worse.

Anger:

Shortly before the race is called, Sarah Palin says an Obama victory would be a "catastrophic setback to our economy" and lashes out at the public: "I just cannot believe, though, that the majority of Americans would believe that incurring more debt is good for our economy. ... I cannot believe the majority of Americans would believe it's OK not to follow the Constitution and not have a budget."

Fark you, you vapid coont.

Say it aint so Carl.

The greatest public TV meltdown in history will be his legacy for years to come.

Meanwhile, his Koch boy and other contributors are outside his office anxious to rip him another arsehat.

Just dont get any better than this.

Particularly since he dragged in Wallace , the cute blodie anchor fool, and other Rupert stooges.

"wait, there's 62,500 votes waiting to be counted in Jim CVrow Couty Ohio. It's too early to call. Stop them Rupert, please stop them, stop them, stop them"

And Krauthummer (ugliest face in Amerika) blamed it all on Sandy.

Sandy, Sandy, Sandy

What's next?

Please play it forever on utube!

Want to be relevant again, GOP? Do these things:

1. Cut out the cancer that is the Tea Party* and the extreme Religious Right.
2. Get practical on immigration*.
3. Embrace ending the War on Drugs like never before. It's Small Government(tm) that can make inroads with minorities*.
4. Stop pretending that the rich are unduly burdened by historically low taxes.

* - Vigorously marginalize any potentially racist elements, at all costs.

I tried watching it in real time, but it was too uncomfortable. Like watching a child cry after mom backed over the family dog in the driveway.

I'll just watch the re-enactment with Stephen Colbert and Ham Rove tonight.

Fox's graphics were FOOKED. I was going between MSNBC and FNC and I literally had no idea what was going on when I watched Fox. It wasn't a deliberate propaganda thing or anything, they just couldn't get their shiat together in terms of displaying info

My favorite moment was when Greta Van Susteren was trying to get Sarah Palin to help with the spin:

Greta: "Clearly, this election does not give President Obama a mandate, don't you agree?"
Sarah: "Well, Greta, it's the win that counts"

That went on for 2-3 more iterations until Greta finally gave up and sent it back to the Fox funeral parlor.

Yeah, it's like a singularity of irony right there. It's mean, but whenever I see him I hear Bob Marley singing "Get Up Stand Up". He's a mean person too so fark it.

Watching the dissonance between the Fox network back-room analysts and the on-air talent (side note: it was funny to hear Rachel Maddow call them "the talent" and I think the moniker should stick) was pretty funny. It's like the coach saying it's time to shake hands and go home while the cheerleaders keep yelling that the game isn't over.

You just dismantled every defining character of the republican party. If you did those things there would be nothing left to pick up the pieces.

I had Fox news on all night (while simultaneously following the various threads here). The blonde woman is really cute, and they called many states for Obama surprisingly early. It was hilarious to watch Rove try to find a way for Ohio, even after Fox themselves called it and even after the chick walked down the hall and interviewed their own statisticians who defended the call for Obama. I'll not be going back there today, because literally the FIRST WORD of the show after the election segment was "Benghazi", but I will probably go back in 2014 for the mid-terms.
