This weekend is going to be particularly rough, cigar-burn-wise, for the succulent boy prostitutes of Santo Domingo.

Rwa2play: Zerochance: Considering Karl Rove wasted $170 million trying to get Romney elected, I was expecting a catatonic meltdown. This seems reasonably tame.

That's why it was an especially rich piece of schadenfreude. Not only did Romney lose but Karl's out $170 Million; might as well had done a Joker and set it on fire.

And Megyn Kelly is damn hot.

While she has a Lamborghini body, she's got a Ford Pinto brain.

So if you hit it from behind she'll explode?

WinoRhino: CapeFearCadaver: If I had cable I'd certainly have had switched to Fox a couple of times only to quickly change it back out of nothing but ... embarrassment for them.

Congrats, you're one of today's lucky 10,000. I have a great new word for you. It's German. Fremdscham: Almost the opposite of Schadenfreude, Fremdscham is the feeling of being embarrassed for someone else (presumably someone who's not embarrassed for themselves, but should be.)

The Germans have a word for everything. I bet they even have a word that means "hey, we have a word for everything!"

Oh, and CapeFearCadaver: I'm the same way. I don't watch TV and don't live in the US but if I did and did, I wouldn't be able to watch more than a few minutes of Fox News. Just to embarrassing!

I just went to Michelle Malkin's website for my share of schadenfreude. The article she wrote was bland and sad. The comments? Tingling with butthurt and resentment.

You need to get over to DickMorrisdotcom, the comments there will put a smile on your face for a month!

Last night, watching Rove on Fox was like the episode of "The Office" when Michael Scott's paper company went broke.

Michael Scott: "I would like you to crunch those numbers again."
Accountant: "It's a program, there's no such thing as..."
Michael Scott: "Just crunch em, just crunch em please."
Accountant: *refreshes spreadsheet* "Crunch."

I just like the video on the link of that douchenozzle claiming whites males are the minority.

Yes, when you consider ALL non-white/non-male people to be one group, then white males are the farking minority. I would be insulted as fark by that if I were a woman, especially a white woman.

Hey 45% of women who went for Romney: you just got told you aren't the equals and partners of white males, but rather are no better than a black or an hispanic. You don't sit at their table, you sit with the rest of the country.

Now, I'm not lumping all republicans together, and obviously 45% of female voters didn't vote that way because they want to follow their husband's commands like he in turn follows god's. I don't think all the white male conservatives agree with bullshiat like that either. But I do think that your party will accept anything short of Todd Akin's comments when it comes to misogynistic bullshiat, and it might behoove the rest of you, male or female, white or black, to try to shut these farkers up and remove their influence on your party.

And Bill is one of the more sane pundits advocating for Republicans.

It was pretty surreal to watch; he was having a meltdown and the pundits were urging the people who projected the win to reconsider it. This was somehow better than 2008 where Karl Rove predicted that we'd know who the next president would be once Ohio was called, with the host interrupting to announce that Obama won Ohio leaving Rove with a stunned look on his face. I'd suggest someone shoop Rove's head on the "It's still real to me, dammit!" guy's picture, but I'm afraid no one could tell the difference.

I was watching it, and it was farking surreal. Megyn Kelley goes wandering down the halls at Fox with a steadicam in tow, blithering about "the last time we practiced this (!) we lost audio juuusst about here...", then gets to the math wonks room where they patiently explain how statistics work and how there is statistically zero chance that Obama loses Ohio. Then she wanders back up and Rove is sputtering like a '77 Harley with a tank of bad gas about how it's inappropriate for Fox to be calling Ohio this early ANYWAY. He's got all of his '98 numbers in a row and he's waving them around like they're a shield against truth. I really believe he was thinking "Wait...we're the goddamn media mouthpiece of the GOP -- why the hell would we be reporting this as straight news? Why are all these people not spinning like tops? OBEY YOUR MASTERS!!!", and it just wasn't working, so he was quite seriously losing it right on the air.

I never thought I would say this, but last night when the co-anchor was asked to trot down the hall, microphone in hand, to reconcile their decision room's call with Rove's long-outdated numbers, knowing all the while that Rove was in a heated discussion with Romney's advisors about postponing the concession speech, I was honestly embarrassed for Fox News.
