I stopped watching Fox News over a year ago.

They are just another tool of the liberal media. Their job is to give viewers the most acceptable conservative view according to their liberal masters.

It does not appear to be good news for Mitt I am sad to say. Chris Christie should be ashamed for selling out the U.S. for freebies for N.J.

Big mistake featuring the gasbag OReilly. All he's got is rehashed banalities from other commentators. He has no expertise in electoral politics and shouldn't try.

Conclusion: HAHAHAHAHA

Woah, you know you're off the deep end when Fox is too liberal for you.

robsul82: FL: Romney +9067, 50% reporting (CNN)

...?

Florida's been all over the place with every update, wild swings in both directions, then times where they've been 6000 apart. I'm calling electoral clusterfark right now.

/I need to get out of here...

I've predicted the election since I was somewhat conscious of the whole thing. Bush, Clinton, Bush, Bush, Obama. I've never been so unsure before, but I'm going to say Romney this term.

JohnnyApocalypse: Michigan red?
I just shat the bed

Aside from Detroit and parts of the very SW Michigan, it is an almost all red state. Fark you Detroit.

jayhawk88: NYT reporting pretty sizeable Obama lead in Ohio. If he gets that, it's basically over right?

Yep.

Obama is going to win.

Warlordtrooper: paj: Fox calls Arkansas for Romney.

I could have called that the moment the polls opened.

You could have called that in January 2009.

dletter: hutchkc: serpent_sky: MSNBC just flashed Todd Akin in the lead in his Senate race. How the hell is that even remotely possible?

People in podunt have less votes to count than KC and STL. Akin doesn't stand a chance.

This... go look at county by county maps before getting worried... 1% of the state is in and it is inland inbred areas... not to worry.

With McCaskill that close in freeperland I suspect Akin might learn firsthand what legitimate rape is like.

To call that county "backwoods" would be an understatement.

Watch the following counties:

Allegheny
Centre
Bucks
Montgomery
Philadelphia
Chester
Delaware
Lancaster
Berks
Monroe
Lehigh
Pike County

Those determine who carry the state

The Third Man: Smeggy Smurf: olddinosaur: I voted for Johnson to send them a message.

My State is so red, Obamavich doesn't stand a chance, but I don't like the other guy either.

Any Farkers in the same boat should consider doing what I did.

That's what I did. I voted a straight libertarian ticket (had to write myself in a few times to do it). Idaho is as red as they come so its about getting numbers for the big L for hte next go around

I voted straight-ticket Working Families. 'Course, that's pretty much a vote for Dems, with one or two exceptions.

That's not possible. Nobody voting for Fartbongo has a job.

Lost Thought 00: Olfin Bedwere: robsul82: CNN projects Arkansas and Tennessee for Mitt Romney. Derrrr.

It's showing 0% reporting on the CNN thingy for Arkansas. How can they call it?

They looked at it's location on the map

They read its name, frankly.

Shirley Ujest: Was Ryan still running for his seat in Wisconsin?

If yes, how did that go?

Has anyone seen that rascal lately?

He's still running for his seat; last night every commercial break was Romney/Obama ads, Thompson/Baldwin ads, and Paul Ryan trying to gingerly retain his congressional seat. It's got to be a morale destroyer to watch your VP candidate scramble to retain his old job.

2012-11-06 08:36:16 PM

Glenford: Hack Patooey: Glenford: They just showed the Florida ballot on CBC. WTF? An 11x17 sheet, double-sided for a ballot?

Yea, mine was like that

No wonder it takes 6 hours to vote. That's seriously messed up.

My ballot in OR was legal size, but we get to all vote by mail so I just went to the bar with my laptop and drank while figuring it out.

I love vote by mail.

Chick fil a day was a warm up for today? WTF

2012-11-06 08:36:25 PM
I wonder how many of the Farkers who have been crying about the horse race narrative the media has been beating are glued to their media outlets of choice, clinging to every scrap of news and state calls, as the media spoon feeds them just enough information to keep them watching through the next commercial.

All the while knowing the important states will be "too close to call" (funny coincidence the important states are too close to call) for the majority of the night.

2012-11-06 08:36:32 PM

serpent_sky: Shirley Ujest: This is quite stressful.

I was much smarter 4 years ago, waiting out the election results in a bar. I should have at least bought a bottle of wine tonight.

Seriously thinking of going and hitting the bar, right about now. Anyone in Sunnyvale?

I can't keep up with the Florida results. Every time I hit F5, there's a 3-point advantage for one candidate or the other. I guess that's why they call it a toss-up state. Much more of this and I will.
