Romney now listed as ahead on MSNBC in FL.

Glenford: Greil: Greil: d-fens99: Who among us is brave enough to face the derp over at freerepublic and see what they're saying?

I shall go.

*dons armor*

*leaves*

oh god oh god oh god WHY DID I DO THAT?!

Levity aside, they're active but the derp isn't even at cruising speed yet. Romney's early calls have set them to "calm" for the moment. They are panincking over the number of women voting though.

I'm sure it's just surprise that women are allowed to vote.

BTW, I wasn't exaggerating when I used the word panic:

"I am very close to an all out panic attack.... seriously feeling ill. I really really hate this crap."

Nate Silver saying that Chesterfield County VA is breaking for Romney with almost the exact same % as they went for McCain.

McCain lost VA.

Dubya won Chesterfield County with 20% points more than where Romney's at right now, with 75% reporting.

Earguy: It has been my experience that many election predictions and projections disappear once they've been horribly disproven. So I took some time to screen-grab as many of the predictions I could find. I want to use this as a tool, as to which poll or aggregator to watch most closely next time.

But you may find it a little fun to remind your far-leaning friends who pointed to their favorite biased "news source" that they were led horribly wrong. Maybe it could shake them awake...or it will drive them to start to shout "election fixing!"

Whatever, I've loosely laid them out ranging from "Obama Landslide" to "Romney Landslide." Hope you find this cool and not annoying.

Great work. Could you do it with no toss-ups, though. Princeton, Election, Votamatic, and 538 are all more "Obama landslidish" if you do no toss-ups. As is, there's too much undecided.

Something's wonky with CNN's map. They've just knocked Florida back to 50% reporting.

2012-11-06 08:24:25 PM

wxboy: I think CNN just had a huge clerical mistake with their FL results. The vote totals on their online map for Leon county are completely exactly reversed from how they are on Leon County's website.

Not just CNN. MSNBC did the exact same

Wouldn't it be great if it were a tie, and we just let them take turns being president?

Bashar and Asma's Infinite Playlist: Mistymtnhop: I'd like to just go to sleep and wake up with the President still the president. Right now, my girls are arguing on where we'd move to if Romney wins this. The oldest has chosen Japan, the middle child, Canada and the youngest (age 9) favors Great Britain.

Well you're in luck.

MSNBC did something smart by listing the difference in vote count between candidates but no indicator to show who's leading. I'm too tightly wound to read digits.

holy farking shiat.

Based on the bit I've read, after this election if Obama wins, we may see them kick out Bill O for not being true enough (according to them basically because they think he is basically calling the election for Obama)

BILL FARKING O'RIELY is going to be kicked out by the freepers for being too liberal

WHAT THE FARK!

That's not what I just saw on MSNBC. But, quit thinking any current Florida numbers mean anything. Florida numbers won't be in until after the election is over.

The problem is, while I get a visual with Ryan and a Ferengi, personality-wise I make that as a Romney match. Romney is OK as a Romulan.
