They had to have farked up Florida. Broward County is the most democratic in the state, and Romney is winning there 3 to 1 atm.

That's one hell of a flip.

Early votes were huge for O and counts on those were returned earlier.  Election day votes are coming in now.  That is the explanation I received.

And, on election day, rural results come in faster.

Yeah. And I wasn't counting on Florida in the slightest. I'm not worried.

Yup. The reason it flipped around just recently is due to the panhandle, which is basically The South weighing in on The Black Man.

is there a online map of votes so far that isnt as slow as google, but isn't calling states where there is no info or the other candidate is leading?

oh god oh god oh god WHY DID I DO THAT?!

Levity aside, they're active but the derp isn't even at cruising speed yet. Romney's early calls have set them to "calm" for the moment. They are panincking over the number of women voting though.

Um, OK, maybe somebody can mansplain this to me:

I'm watching the 'live' maps on Google and Politico. Both just kicked Obama's EVs way up past Rmoney's, presumably based on some of the NE states. Only thing is, they still show 0.0% reporting.

Da fuq?

olddinosaur: Sorry Farkers but here comes the geography:

The East Coast is mainly blue, and it will tilt for Obama early. The center of the nation is thoroughly red, and the "Left Coast" is strongly Democrat.

Sit back and kill a cold Heineken or twelve, it's gonna be a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong night.

So, it's like an NBA game, and just watch the last 2 minutes when everyone fouls after each possession?

It has been my experience that many election predictions and projections disappear once they've been horribly disproven. So I took some time to screen-grab as many of the predictions I could find. I want to use this as a tool, as to which poll or aggregator to watch most closely next time.

But you may find it a little fun to remind your far-leaning friends who pointed to their favorite biased "news source" that they were led horribly wrong. Maybe it could shake them awake...or it will drive them to start to shout "election fixing!"

Whatever, I've loosely laid them out ranging from "Obama Landslide" to "Romney Landslide." Hope you find this cool and not annoying.

Holy crap! Romney plummeted in the last five days! Oh, wait, it's Unskewed changing its strategy from "let's give the conservatives hope" to "we better not be *that* wrong. The earlier estimation has already disappeared.

No wait, Obama is back up in Florida. They just rescinded a huge uptick in Republican votes. He will probably flip right back to losing in about 5 minutes, then Dade will report and it will decide the outcome

I'd like to just go to sleep and wake up with the President still the president. Right now, my girls are arguing on where we'd move to if Romney wins this. The oldest has chosen Japan, the middle child, Canada and the youngest (age 9) favors Great Britain.

Andy Andy: Here's my predictions for the record:

Obama wins.

1. 30% Right wing whining about voter fraud, acorn,? ect for a few days
2. "Silent president"
3. Impeachment talk starts seriously within 1/7 year.

You libtards are gonna be soooo pissed off.

I just reviewed 2008 in the FL panhandle, and the overwhelming majority of those counties went McCain by at least a 70-30 margin. Romney will gain back LOTS of votes from up thataway. I am proud that Orange County is currently showing Obama at a little over 60% right now, but I will be amazed and delighted if this lead holds to any extent.
