Chabash: Okay Farkers, I need a good reply to this that completely cuts away the argument of the person that posted this statement.

Pioneering spirit, Individual responsibility, and Self Reliance doesn't pay out food stamps and a rent check every month. They've been kicked to the curb.

My manager and a co-worker are both bonafide, Kool-Aid drinking tea baggers. One is serious when he says Barack Huessein is bringing Communism to America and the other says things like "All hail the new slavery! Bow down to your liberal masters!" Oh, and he also thinks that that gays and woman should get over the threat to their rights because that's not as important as fixing the economy first. Sure is easy to make judgment calls over other people's civil liberties. And I tried asking once what Romney's master plan was for fixing the economy. Clouds got yelled at that day, I can tell you.

/may call in sick tomorrow no matter how this election pans out

I work with an extremely conservative workforce. It will be one extreme or the other tomorrow.

Here's my predictions for the record:

Obama wins.

1. Right wing whining about voter fraud, acorn,? ect for a few days
2. "He's a lame duck president now"
3. Impeachment talk starts seriously within a year.

Sorry for being so pessimistic.

2012-11-06 08:14:22 PM

TV's Vinnie: d-fens99: Sweet flaming monkey balls, is Obama winning Ohio?

Sure damn hoping so! If he does, that's gonna cut at least one of the nuts off of Rmoney's campaign chances.

I love it when people freak out about the first like twelve votes that come in.

Hack Patooey: Glenford: They just showed the Florida ballot on CBC. WTF? An 11x17 sheet, double-sided for a ballot?

Yea, mine was like that

Here in Chicago, mine were about 11x24

almandot: No Wolf, you're not going to be spending a long time talking about Ohio tonight it's going to be Florida Florida Florida

Earlier Wolf even had a hard time saying Ohio.

wxboy: Glenford: They just showed the Florida ballot on CBC. WTF? An 11x17 sheet, double-sided for a ballot?

The full text of 11 different amendment proposals pretty much took up the entire second sheet.

And in Spanish. Mine was three sheets. If you knew how you were going to vote, it took about 30 seconds to zap through everything.

Watching Fox News is fascinating. They're already doing an autopsy on the Romney campaign.

Is it odd that I'm kind of feeling bad for them?

jasimo: Coco LaFemme: Obama could win 270 to 268. I don't care. As long as the man is re-elected.

Yeah, a comfy margin would be nice, but not required.

The rightards thought that a Dubya win of less than 1000 votes in 2000 was a mandate. Let's see how THEY like it for a change.

Florida's polls are closed, but thousands of voters remain in line

Goddammit. There's no excuse for this crap in the day and age. You guys better vote that asshole Governor of yours out.

Tomahawk513: Florida 51 R 49 D @ 50%. Kinda thought this would be a blow out for Romney.

Something like 23% more hispanic registered voters in 2012 than 2008. I think Obama is gonna win FL. 332 baby.

Fox News is giving a post-mortem on Romney's failed campaign. I wasn't going to call it, but I'll call it. Just based off the attitude of the "losing pundits".

/this assumes that losing means anything to a pundit

I'm shocked by how varied the vote counts are at various locations.

2012-11-06 08:15:37 PM
Now that Rmoney has officially lost his home state, here's some fun presidential trivia.

LIST OF PRESIDENTS WHO LOST THEIR HOME STATE IN THE ELECTION
1844 - James K. Polk (Tennessee)
1916 - Woodrow Wilson (New Jersey)
1968 - Richard Nixon (New York)

Nixon's status on this list is questionable because he was a Californian for most of his life and only took up residency in New York after his failed run for governor of California.
