The election coverage sounds and looks like a football game. Silly indeed.

I've been hearing this comparison a lot lately when people try to make the point that we aren't treating the election appropriately. I think the real point is that we, as a nation, are so sports-crazed that we subject sports to the same level of analysis as our political process.

Chabash: Okay Farkers, I need a good reply to this that completely cuts away the argument of the person that posted this statement.

"I am still astonished and embarrassed that my home states of Washington and Oregon consistently choose statism over freedom. What happened to the pioneering spirit, the individual responsibility and self-reliance that settled and founded these states?"

Romney sold it to China?

Now we've got a case of beer and are planning to watch our chosen candidate lose, but voting Gary Johnson felt much better than the turd sandwich or the giant douche.

Good for you. Seriously. Rock on.

CNN gives South Carolina and WV to Romney (first battleground states called I think?)

Currently Obama has a half percent lead in Florida... Its going to come down to OH/FL. If the last polls were accurate (hah) and romney does win them both, he has more paths to 270 than Obama.

Im hoping for a tie, and a fight to the death.

For the lulz I decided to vote without showing a photo ID as a white guy in the middle of White Suburbia, Midwest. They had to pull together 3 judges because they couldn't grasp the concept that I might not have one. Eventually they decided that they need a Democratic and a Republican Judge to verify my signature. Had one of the judges decided to be a dick, I'm not really sure how things would have turned out. With the trouble I had as a white guy in Crackerland, I can't even image some of the BS minority voters in Republican land must have faced.
