i'm shocked that a rightwing, murdoch-owned tabloid like the post would endorse the republican candidate. wait, i'm not shocked. what IS shocking is that the daily news endorsed romney. not that it'll turn NY red or anything.

...or what, exactly? It gets the hose again?

We decided that wasn't shocking either the other day... try to keep up.

And on this day, the NY Post lost any shred of credibility and sense of unbiasedness. I mean, we all know on Fark that NY Post is a Murdoch-owned arm of the GOP, but I don't think the NYP has gone this far before.

Well I know which rag to avoid for the next 4 years.

Who cares? It's the New York Post, for Christ's sake. New Yorkers don't take that rag seriously - it's gospel for the stupid and amusement for everyone else.

Lol. They lose credibility because they endorsed somebody?

What exactly do you consider credible?

Ny Post thought it was important to make the full front page news that P Diddy stepped in dog shiat.

That shows that the paper is a worthless, glorified tabloid, regardless of politics.

Meh, I stand corrected. Wow, I forgot about that one. Does anybody read this shiat?

There's a difference between endorsing somebody as being a better president, and declaring "OMFG, OBummer sucks balls!" in crayon.

Dear liberal,

Congratulations on being so morally and intellectually superior to every other person in the world. Everyone should aspire to be as tolerant as you are and surely none of you would ever condemn another person to eat a hot penis simply because they disagree with your opinion. Surely such an attitude would be indicative of a boot strapping evil conservative who only cares about himself or others who share his view points. Thank you

But yeah, doesn't matter what type of person the candidate is long as my side wins, amirite?

With the way that the newspaper industry is failing, some would say that they will publish anything outrageous to get more money from the American public, but I disagree. I think they have a plan for unlimited funding from the American public. They are slowly turning into a Super PAC, and clearly a conservative one at that.

This. Funny how the "tolerant" Democrats are usually the ones who seem to piss stones every time they see someone support the other team. As retarded as Republicans are, they seem to be more tolerant of people supporting other political viewpoints (from what I have seen, this thread and submitter included)

NYP is a tabloid. The role of a tabloid is to provoke emotional (not intellectual) responses. That's why people buy tabloids. They want to be shocked, enraged, frightened and titillated.

What they don't want, and won't tolerate, is to have their preconceived notions challenged. Theg want familiar slogans.

So this kind of thing is predictable.
