Hello Ladies.

OH NOOOES!

This is why I always vote by mail - unless I see a black man on the way to the Post Office, then I go home and lie down for a couple of days before I try again.

2012-11-06 09:38:51 AM
What the hell. Not that long ago, these guys forced black men to do those jobs.

2012-11-06 09:39:12 AM
OK, I know nothing good ever comes from starting a sentence I'm not racist but...
If that was a white guy wearing the same exact thing, I'd feel a little bit intimidated. OK, I'd feel more intimidated actually, since the white guys that dress like that are militia idiots.

2012-11-06 09:40:10 AM
Is it the same guy that was a registered poll watcher in 2008? Cause it'd be funny if it was.

The little nitwit with the billy club isn't with him this time, though.

There were people in Arizona carrying guns and standing outside polling places a couple elections ago. People actually reported being intimidated as compared to 2008 in Philly when not one person complained other than Fox News and a college republican with a camera that wasn't voting.

To be fair, "Have a nice day" sounds an awful lot like "I'ma kill yo cracka asses."

I'd like to suggest that it's time to retire the Simpsons jpg that starts with "Fox News: Not Racist"

I think that has been definitely disproven now. It should read:

"Fox News: ZOMG BLACK PEOPLE RUN FEAR HATE"

Cognitive dissonance can be quite unsettling. Remember when O'Reilly freaked out because having dinner in Harlem wasn't like being in bad rap video? Too many people have organized their lives to where they interact with as few people different than them as possible. As a result, they end up having some really weird ideas of how everyone not part of their tribe lives.

Doesn't PA allow open carry at polling locations? That guy could be standing outside with a handgun and conservatives should be applauding his support of the second amendment.

2012-11-06 09:42:58 AM
But having white people "challenge" voters for looking "unamerican" is a position of those of Fox News and the right.

2012-11-06 09:43:37 AM
The anchor on the right speaks in the perfect high-pitched voice of effeminate concern. Where do they get these people?

Only if he was white. A black man with a weapon would be potential mugger/rapist.

Conservatives love the second amendment as much as they hate the 13th.

If you watch the video, you notice that he opens it, but doesn't hold it open. He lets it go in an attempt to knock them out as they walk through.

VIOLENCE!

Oh man, I forgot about that. didn't he basically say he was surprised that being surrounded by black people didn't result in him being mugged or offered drugs or something?

2012-11-06 09:45:58 AM
That's nothing.....this morning at my polling place a group of four Hari Krishnas, in their saffron robes and flaunting shaved heads, were chanting "Mitt Romney Mitt Romney - Romney Romney Mitt Mitt - Mitt God Mitt God - God God Mitt Mitt."

It was a message that seemed to resonate with everyone there.

These are not people to fear. They dress that way because they know they are pussies.

This isn't intimidation, however loitering directly outside the door of a polling place isn't a reasonable behavior for anyone who is not actively assisting in the election in an official capacity. If they want to watch and be sure nothing strange is happening, fine, but do it from a bit farther away.

Do you ever wonder if Steve Douchey feels doocy saying things like he does on Fox?

2012-11-06 09:56:23 AM
The Lutherans at my polling place gave me cookies and coffee. Clearly they were trying to induce a heart attack so that I would be prevented from voting. I'm on to their nefarious, deliciously home baked scheme!

2012-11-06 09:57:10 AM
Wonder what you libs would say if a couple of guys in a militia uniforms were patrolling on the street outside a polling site.

2012-11-06 09:57:21 AM
"They say they are merely monitoring the election process but some say it looks like intimidation, like in 2008."

2 things just that sentence. Fox' ever-present "some people are saying" BS and "2008 intimidation". "Some say"" = We Say. And no charges were filed on the dumbasses in 2008 because they left when they were asked to.

But this stunt is just mind-boggling stupid. Fox & Friends was playing the 2008 clip as recently as July 2012. Why the FARK would you open yourself up to ANOTHER 4+ years of criticism? Just go the fark home and let the professionals handle the election process, asshole.

I used to see those guys on a semi-regular basis riding the subway at night acting as a citizen's watch of sorts.

What constitutes "patrolling"? Is it anything like the annoying Republican volunteer I saw this morning loudly trying to pick a fight with the Democratic volunteer over the presence of non-partisan poll watchers from the Virginia State Bar? Because he bothered me a lot more than a couple of dudes loitering and minding their own business.

COFFEE!?

Since Mormons can't drink caffeine, this is obviously a plot by OBAMA AND HIS THUGS to get you to vote for Obama.

MORMONS 2012! WOO!

brigid_fitch: Why the FARK would you open yourself up to ANOTHER 4+ years of criticism?

Psst...any criticism of Fox News is replied with fingers stuck in their ears shouting "LALALALALALA :LAMESTREAM MEDIA LALALALALALALA"

I just went down to vote and was totally hassled to show my driver's license. The ancient woman looked at it and pointed out my address hadn't been updated and asked for ANOTHER form of ID. My voter registration card wasn't enough.

You're just making shiat up now.

Political correctness now dictates that I not be discomfited by a man in a paramilitary uniform outside a polling place just because he's black? Screw that.

They're outraged because he didn't doff his cap and avoid looking them in the eyes.

This is why I'm glad I live in New Jersey. I walk in, there's never any lines at all because we have plenty of places to vote for everyone, tell them my name, sign a paper, then vote. 2 minutes tops, noone hanging out, bothering anyone, two forms of ID, or anything.

What the hell is wrong with you people?
