ilikeracecars: OK, I know nothing good ever comes from starting a sentence I'm not racist but...If that was a white guy wearing the same exact thing, I'd feel a little bit intimidated. OK, I'd feel more intimidated actually, since the white guys that dress like that are militia idiots.
Aarontology: Man, imagine being a Republican and being terrified of black people showing courtesy.
Carth: Doesn't PA allow open carry at polling locations? That guy could be standing outside with a handgun and conservatives should be applauding his support of the second amendment.

spcMike: I mean, a black guy wearing a beret? Are we sure it wasn't Samuel Jackson?[www.howmuchdotheyweigh.com image 700x1050]
EngineerAU: Aarontology: Man, imagine being a Republican and being terrified of black people showing courtesy.Cognitive dissonance can be quite unsettling. Remember when O'Reilly freaked out because having dinner in Harlem wasn't like being in bad rap video? Too many people have organized their lives to where they interact with as few people different than them as possible. As a result, they end up having some really weird ideas of how everyone not part of their tribe lives.
NowhereMon: Fox news: were part of the problem
orclover: Aarontology: Man, imagine being a Republican and being terrified of black people showing courtesy.I'm in Texas, I have family scattered across the entire state. You just described %99.8 of them. That statement contained no hyperbole.
BraveNewCheneyWorld: This isn't intimidation, however loitering directly outside the door of a polling place isn't a reasonable behavior for anyone who is not actively assisting in the election in an official capacity. If they want to watch and be sure nothing strange is happening, fine, but do it from a bit farther away.
evoke: Wonder what you libs would say if a couple of guys in a militia uniforms were patrolling on the street outside a polling site.
Philip Francis Queeg: The Lutherans at my polling place gave me cookies and coffee. Clearly they were trying to induce a heart attack so that I would be prevented from voting. I'm on to their nefarious, deliciously home baked scheme!
