Rwa2play: Via Infinito: coco ebert: Hai guyz.

Just got back from Obama campaign headquarters in central NJ. I was making calls and as I posted on my FB, all the little old ladies in south Philly were out in droves early in the morning. As one old Black lady told me, "We can't have Romney in office. I'm too old to pick cotton." lol

OMFG, just WOW. That is fanf*ckingtastic. My jaw actually dropped when I read that.

That's just mofoing epic.

Great remarks deserved to be immortalized.

I just found something really interesting for all you Nate Silver fans

1. Nate Silver

When "Poblano" began publishing his 2008 presidential election predictions and analyses on Daily Kos in 2007, people paid attention. Then "Poblano" moved to his own blog, FiveThirtyEight.com, where he later revealed he was really Nate Silver, the guy behind PECOTA, a system that predicts Major League Baseball players' performances. After Silver accurately predicted the results of 49 of 50 states' 2008 election results (and all 35 Senate races), FiveThirtyEight moved to The New York Times. But none of the eyes on Silver this week will catch him at the polls: he has not voted since he moved to the Times and doesn't intend to this year, though he told Charlie Rose that if he did, "it would be kind of a Gary Johnson versus Mitt Romney decision."

Baryogenesis: dforkus: Tigger: dforkus: cameroncrazy1984: dforkus: NateGrey: dforkus: robsul82: GoldSpider: PA is still a fairly safe Obama state, so I'll probably make a statement vote for Johnson.

/huh huh "johnson".

Ehhhhhhh, just to be safe, vote Obama. Pretty please.

Another bad sign for Obama, Johnson is going to end up being this election's nader. Lot's of youth that were caught up in the Obama hysteria of 08 are going to stay home, or vote Libertarian..

It's all going to start unraveling after 7 eastern.

Please dont stop posting tonight, your tears will be needed later.

Don't you worry about that, it's going to be a joy dispensing out the comeuppance

I doubt you'll be anywhere near here when the race is called. Will you take your medicine?

Absolutely, will you take yours??
The dems just aren't motivated like they were last time, and on the flip side the Anti Obama sentiment is palpable.
Also Romney's organization/ground game is an order of magnitude better than McCain.
We'll watch the democrats' hope unravel before our eyes

Not one of you 'gut feeling over statistics' types has had the balls to put any money on the line just yet.

You interested in being the first? How much do you want to place on a Romney win?

How's 3 months of Total Fark sound

Actually backing it up, wow, I can't believe I witnessed it in person!

No takers either.. I guess the hopium is wearing off

sorry, flyover country is going to push this to the Republicans

IExpectAKill: Remarkable.

You must live in a swing state

*checks profile*

Hmm. I would've picked Florida.

they could pile up shreds of pork for each vote, I hope that lady still has some of her sandwich left when they get there.

this is going to be... great....

Are we really going off something like that website to validate anything for either side?

=/

fivethirtyeight has adjusted Obama down by three points.

really? looks like 90.9% to me, just like this morning.

I think that it was 91.2 yesterday, so momentum for Romney!

Insatiable Jesus: Corvus: You seem to not able to focus (I notice this with a lot of crazy people). Do Mitt Romney and Obama have the same stance on those issues or not?

It doesn't matter a hooting hell what either of their "stance on those issues" may be.

The closest thing to any sort of real elected power in DC is the US Senate (House of Lords). Take a look at how the Senate votes - kind of blows your party-centric view of politics out of the water. The Senate is the House for rich people. Your Congressman makes a great show of fighting for you, your Senator kills it and you continue to throat that Koch.

Tools.

Blade Runner World in 20 years

Dude. Or dudette. I understand. I do.
I believe you.
It's real. Quite a bit of what you say is true.

Caveat- what if things just go on the way they do?

I called running man world 20 years ago.

I'm still fighting against it. Because I believe that money won't win.

That makes me no less realistic. It's the very same apathy you speak of- that all sides are the same- that has folks going to the polls in big numbers.
The apathy is gone. If one side's just going to lie, and lie poorly, well, they're just not putting in enough effort.
Don't even give me the dignity of trying to lie pretty? That makes me mad.

robsul82: Rwa2play: DamnYankees: robsul82: Obama wins 2008, MSNBC fills their pants.

Maybe I'm sappy, but I like how Olbermann's voice breaks.

Me too; that was one moment that no one's ever going to forget in their lifetime.

/damn dust
//remember the video @ Grant Park when CNN called it
///epic, it was

Admittedly, it was VERY dusty when I saw Obama declared the winner in '08. Mmhmm.

I regret not taking a day off and going to Chicago - it's only a three hour drive. I can't imagine what that atmosphere was like live.

rufus-t-firefly: I just wanted to say Ayn Rand was a horrible human being, and anyone who says he got his values from her is a terrible person.

That stupid biatch is a major cause of what's going on today.
Hope that was some good pussy, Mr. Greenspan. You farked an entire country over because you fell for a harpy, helped bring her into the social circles outside of art.

AkaDad: badaboom: TV's Vinnie: I hope you republicans all had your bungholes waxed today. You're gonna be on all 4's by 10PM for sure.

I'm just curious how many liberals subscribe to this line of thinking. Given that the electorate is about 50/50 do you truly believe this about half your fellow Americans? Why so much hatred? Does anyone else here support what TV Vinnie thinks? Or is he an outlier?

I can't speak for all Liberals, but my "hatred" is from being called a traitor for not supporting the Iraq invasion.

Don't let this insect rattle you too deeply. What badaboom here is pulling is typical right wing mental gymnastics horsesh*t. For years they pull all sorts of nastiness towards anything that is not a part of their hideous, diseased little worldview, and when people dare to actually call them out on their crap, they pull that "Why all the hate?" garbage.

The know very damn well why they are getting the hate (at least the ones who know what they're doing IS wrong but just don't care who they hurt). They just think that they are above any reproach for the things that they have done, and want to do if allowed the chance to continue.

They know that they're about to get their Borg Collective asses handed to them on a platter tonight, and so they are desperately trying to thwart as much Schadenfreude as they can, because they know they have it coming. Ohhhhh do they ever have it coming!

We hate the right wing because they are evil, and evil deserves to be hated, and fought against. Any time. Any where.

It doesn't matter a hooting hell what either of their "stance on those issues" may be.

So the Affordable Health Care Act would still have passed under McCain Palin, We'd have invaded Iraq under Gore and Mike Dukakis would have got rid of the Berlin wall?

Glad to clear that up.
