chopit: God's Hubris: Made a bet in my Fantasy Football league with the 344 Romney landslide guy from yesterday. If Obama wins, he gives me Tom Brady, if Romney wins, I give him AJ Green.

That's beautiful. Not only is his guy going to lose, he gets to watch his fantasy team stink for the rest of the season. Well played, old chap.

I made a bet with both my boss and my dad.
If Romney wins, I have to detail my boss's car and I cannot ever bring up W to my dad.
When Obama wins, my boss will detail my car, and my dad cannot ever mention Benghazi to me.

Wow. I thought Obama had no chance in Florida.

Looks like it's gonna be a squeaker.

I sooooo want Obama to win FL; Romney's pretty much cooked at that point, with or without OH.

They need to apologize to the country for Rick Scott. How embarrassing that is for the people that actually have brains down there.

I thought Florida was a hard Republican voter, especially with the Cuban community.

Yeah the cubans here are batshiat insane, no doubt about that, but the other Latino communities aren't putting up with Romney's bullshiat, and fortunately, the cubans will be outnumbered soon.

Probably, but a squeaker that will only decide the magnitude of the Obama win. Rmoney was supposed to walk in FL, so if it's really close there, it bodes well for other battleground states for Obama.

Oh, absolutely. Florida falls entirely in the Nice To Have column for Obama, but in the Must Have column for Romney. But since it's the shakiest of the swing states, a close race there portends much better results elsewhere.

Frankly, I'd be shocked if this is wrong. Oh, I'm not saying it's impossible for Romney to win. It's possible. It's just highly improbable.

Currently the Intrade Odds are: Obama-72.0 Romney-29.6
Frankly, that shows a lot of confidence.

In my mind, the big question is does Obama carry Virginia and therefore the result is called early, or does Virginia remain a toss-up until the last minute. Perhaps it even turns out solid Romney. Either of the last two scenario will make it a long night waiting for results, and I thoroughly expect a long night coming.

This isn't like 2008 where Obama has it wrapped up in a pretty ribbon, he's fighting for the vote this year.

That cannot possibly have actually happened.

Tell me that's some kind of elaborate Photoshop, please.

Yes, it actually happened, back in June, 2011, hence my desire to relentlessly mock Gary Johnson supporters. Ditto Ron Paul, who took part in a similar farce on Stossel's show.

They worship the guy, and yet they know so little about him.

/may have to zoom a bit. Sorry about the quality.

That's the farked-up part: both Johnson and Paul took part in the fake debates because they knew people would be fooled into supporting them after their "win" over the Obama impersonator. Anyone smart enough to see through the charade wasn't gonna support Johnson or Paul to begin with.

Fark Griswald: inner ted: Fark Griswald: FinFangFark: Tor_Eckman: In case anyone cares, Halo 4 is quite good so far.

I hate you...I have it sitting at my gaming desk at home...ready to go.

I haven't played Halo since Halo 2

I've never played Mass Effect.

Do you recommend Halo 4 or Mass Effect Trilogy?

Discuss

i just played Mass Effect for the first time- it's freaking great - though the main plot line is kinda short - i completed it & didn't realize the game just ended (was hoping to be able to still bump around and do misc. tasks - but no... unless i'm missing something)

will probably play through again & from what i understand, you get to progress the same character into Mass Effect 2 & 3 - which is super cool.

halo is halo - awesome, but getting pwned by 10 year olds with squeaky voices and a list of curse words longer than you can imagine can get old.

/on topic - haven't voted yet
//booga booga booga

Yes I used to LOVE Halo but I had to give it up when I got a PS3 instead of a 360 some 5 or 6 years ago. Well I recently got a 360 anyway and played the Mass Effect 3 demo and loved it. I still love Halo but being able to play through the whole Mass Effect story right away just seems super sexy.

/I voted early a week ago to beat the rush.
/If R-Money actually manages to win it'll be a sad day in 'merica

sorry bout your time with the ps3 - glad you saw the light (just kidding - kinda)

i heard that Mass Effect 2 is supposed to be better than the first (which was freaking awesome to me - but i also loved SWKOTOR)

but that Mass 3 was a bit of a let down - not sure bout that though

as for Halo - i suppose it would be kind of epic to play all of them - from Combat Evolved (easily the best story IMHO) all the way through Reach (meh) & now Halo 4

i played them all (except 4.. yet) and they are pretty sweet - the campaign was pretty weak in Reach but the multiplayer was fun enough

blah blah blah --- o ya

Basically, it shows the breakdown of every VA county and what % of the vote Obama would need in each one in order to take the state. Obviously its an estimate, but you can compare the VA counties as they come in with this spreadsheet to see whether Obama is on target to take the state. And considering VA closes at 7 PM, there shouldn't be too much competition for our attention.

Currently at:
