Im_Gumby: Donny?!?! Who let you on the computer?
Anarchangel: Hey look, a voting machine turning an Obama vote into a Romney vote. Confirmed by NBC News. But yeah, your vote totally means something.
heap: paygun: I'm just looking forward to finding out if the theme on the politics tab is going to be I'm Moving To Canada or You're All Racists.i think it's 'intoxication'.
DamnYankees: doyner: DamnYankees: This is an interesting link: LinkBasically, it shows the breakdown of every VA county and what % of the vote Obama would need in each one in order to take the state. Obviously its an estimate, but you can compare the VA counties as they come in with this spreadsheet to see whether Obama is on target to take the state. And considering VA closes at 7 PM, there shouldn't be too much competition for our attention. Is that yours? Are you in Virginia too?Not mine. Got it from someone on Nate's twitter feed.
Herbie555: My FirstWorldVotingProblem of the day is that I early-voted on Saturday and now my "I Voted" sticker has lost its stick and keeps coming off my shirt!!! :'(
Wasteland: bionicjoe:Small ballot this year. One cool KY Constitutional amendment to vote on. Trying to make it a right that hunting and fishing be used for conservation and wildlife management. I dig that even though I don't hunt & haven't fished in years.Yeah, I was of two minds on that one. Strongly support the basic intent, not 100% on board with the idea of amending the bloody state constitution for it. Gave in and voted yes.

TV's Vinnie: badaboom: Why so much hatred?Translation: "WAAAAAH! LIBERALS AREN'T SUPPOSED TO FIGHT BACK! WAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!"
12349876: For those looking for some Election Day distraction, the UEFA Champions League starts up soon.
saintstryfe: Guy on MSNBC just said the polling place in VA he's at had a greater then 50% turnout all ready. That is VERY bad for Romney in Virginia.
Walt_Jizzney: [forbiddenplanet.co.uk image 300x353]Proud.
xenophon10k: Anarchangel: Hey look, a voting machine turning an Obama vote into a Romney vote. Confirmed by NBC News. But yeah, your vote totally means something.Oh, FFS. It was a poorly calibrated touchscreen. It didn't change the vote. It wasn't like Obama was actually selected on screen, and then the machine flipped it to Romney. They tapped Obama, and it selected Romney. If they had tapped the button for Jill Stein, Obama would have been selected.
xenophon10k: If they had tapped the button for Jill Stein, Obama would have been selected.
imontheinternet: skullkrusher: imontheinternet: cameroncrazy1984: d23: This is the only one that makes sense so far:[i48.tinypic.com image 240x238]Both Sides Are The Same has never made sense.Being edgy is much cooler than being informed."Thier both like corporate and Wall Street and the electorate college is a scam anyway."I don't think it is "edgy" to recognize that the two party system is more about big money than it is the natural result of candidate awesomeness"Both sides are bad, so I'm not supporting either" is a cop-out, and many people choose it because they think it makes them look edgy and above it all. There are clearly-defined differences between the two candidates on a wide range of issues. The next term could see as many as three appointments to the Supreme Court, FFS. Stow the edgy teenager crap for one day, and do the right thing.
Cornelis de Gyselaer: idsfa: SphericalTime: idsfa: Remember to Vote No Twice, Minnesota![img826.imageshack.us image 480x373]Who is that hot gay-friendly but blurry person?John Barrowman.Sorry about the picture quality, I didn't take it. He and his sister were at a book signing here in MN last weekend and they were both rockin' the "VOTE NO!" shirtsAnother Double NO for MN -- Was the signing at a bookstore or Library?--Kees
robsul82: An actual factual Jeff Boss voter? At the ACADEMY?Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeit.
Nina_Hartley's_Ass: [www.trbimg.com image 600x370]
robsul82: xenophon10k: If they had tapped the button for Jill Stein, Obama would have been selected.Or, if you had read the article."I first thought the calibration was off and tried selecting Jill Stein to actually highlight Obama. Nope. Jill Stein was selected just fine."The problem is that the "hot" area for Romney is way too big and Obama's is just a small sliver.
dletter: Anyone think that if there was good "exit polling" for the GOP that Drudge would have leaked it out by now?
