Catymogo1: markfara: Catymogo1: Gulper Eel: I hope Gary Johnson and Jill Stein each fark up the election in one key state.

I kind of hope that as well. I mean, it could lead to a clusterfark that makes 2004 look like a cakewalk, but maybe it'll insert some reality into politics.

That is NOT going to happen, but keep dreaming. . . .

Of course it's not going to happen. It's still amusing to think about, though.

Thinking about it is amusing, maybe. Voting for a non-entity under the impression that you're having some sort of impact, not so much.

This.

aside from that, does anyone know how to report voter fraud in PA? I've looked online but can't find anything...

no, nothing happened... I just want to be prepared for when I do walk down the street.

You mean election fraud or voter suppression? Because voter fraud happens 0.00004% of the time.

But you knew that.

I sent in my absentee ballot weeks ago. Under Federal law, expatriates vote as if they were still resident in the last place in the States they lived. I get to vote in Ohio, but I don't actually have to live there. Best of both worlds.

OK, I'm not an American, so let me see if I can get the gist of this election thing.

If Obama wakes up and sees his shadow, he gets 4 more years as President? And if he dosen't, Romney becomes President?

No, no, no. If we put Obama and a duck on a scale, if Obama weighs the same as the duck, he becomes President again.

I remember the polls favoring Kerry just before the election back in '04 as well. I voted for Bush that year - first time I was eligible to vote. In '08 I voted for McCain. So I am 1 out of 2 so far. Today I am voting for Romney and there is no doubt in my mind that he's going to win it.

You can bet that after Obama looses, all his supporters will cry their eyes out and biatch about how Romney "stole the vote", shot down planes carrying the military ballots, didn't get ballots to military personnel on time, had a bunch of dead people vote, intimidated voters, had Romney default on touch screen voting systems, cheated, etc.

Voted this morning as we don't have early voting. :(
Line was bigger than 2010 but less than 2008. I saw a good mix of ages and as I was walking in there appeared to be a few women getting their picture taken as they voted for the first time. No matter what happens it's all over but the crying.

WienerButt: They moved my polling location to a shiatty church in the ghetto. Last time it was across the street from me in a nice, little nursing home. I walked in and walked out within minutes. The new location is in an area with notoriously awful traffic (those in Orlando, its farking semoran and 408).

I will try my hardest to make it, and I know once I'm in line they can't give me the boot, but this will suck.

/I know, I know
//should have voted early

Yeah, traffic in that part of Orlando blows!

2012-11-06 09:13:47 AM
PA voter here-

I got to the polling station at 7:45 this morning and for the first time ever there was an actual line of people waiting to vote.

I was able to vote around 8:05 (line wasn't too bad) but the poll worker I spoke with said that they had already had more people come through than they usually get all day.

And there are 12 hours left.

// I feel pretty good about that actually. My district doesn't vote my way but it's still nice to see massive turnout. Kind of makes me feel good to be an American
