She's just jealous of the attention EL James is getting by butchering Twilight fanfic.

I've read and enjoyed all the Twilight books, and also The Host. There. I said it.

Oh, god, I feel so much better now! I can stop living a lie!

The 600 series had rubber skin. We spotted them easy, but these are new. They look human... sweat, bad breath, everything. Very hard to spot. I had to wait till she wrote a book before I could zero her.

You disgust me. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to reading that Dune book where Paul turns into a sand worm. After that, I'm going to read some Star Wars Extended Universe book where Luke's daughter's twins have to fight the clone Emperor or whatever.

She wasn't planning to stop, and then her book sequel leaked online and she flipped out. Sounds like she got over that. Regardless of how I feel about the quality of the books, it'd be kind of dumb of her not to try and make as much as she can while people are interested.

Paul does not turn into a sandworm. That is his son, Leto. At least get your snarky comments right!

Actually, that would have been a parallel story to the first Twilight, except told entirely from Edward's perspective.

OH GOD WHY DO I KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT STEPHENIE MEYER?

Hopefully the same reason I know about Twilight. The girlfriend / wife loves it and you get stuck listening to her talk about it or take her to see the movies.

Yes, I read it because of my girlfriend. I have a girlfriend and I read it because of her. Yes, yes. That's the ticket!

Never read it but I did / will take my girlfriend to see the Twilight movies. I even bought her most of them on DvD. Which makes my older brother make fun of me till I tell him, "A happy girlfriend / wife means a happy life." That tends to shut him up.

Look, I didn't like the books either (the movies, however, are perfect storms of unintentional hilarity), but that was a hell of a lot of "I mad" over an author continuing to write a series that her audience has given every indication that they'd like to continue to read.

It would've been the first time she'd have an excuse for copy/pasting dialog.

Geez people need to lighten up.
They're just soap opera stories. Who the f*ck cares??

My wife loves them, I've seen all the movies. I understand all the arguments against them, I just think people don't understand the context. It's just female fantasy. Calm the f*ck down.

whatever it's a crappy book, i'm more focused on my wife reading my 50 shades books, they worked out VERY WELL for me

That's a nice story, but to all the other men out there, it's possible to find a girlfriend who doesn't like that Twilight nonsense, and still have a "happy life." :)

There is a trade off to all relationships... This is just a small price to pay to have a girl who actually likes gaming and other things I like. I am happy to treat her to some movies that I can rift while she enjoys a love story that sucks.

I did not read the books. I have no intention of never accidentally reading the books if I can help it. I did however, allow a gay guy named Mark to read the twilight books and digest them into cliffnotes style. Most of it was him screaming about how I was not prepared.

I do go with my wife to the movies. There's a lot of whatthefark there and I am inclined to see this farkery all the way through.
