Mike_LowELL: This is it. I'm so stoked. You know how liberals always talk about doves crying? Well tonight is a special edition of "When Libs Cry". All the hard work and determination and corporate money that went into the Mitchell "Thaddeus" Romney campaign is finally coming to fruition. And you know what? When all of you stupid libs get jailed for opposing the policies of the president, I won't feel bad for any of you. You had your chance to lower taxes on the wealthiest one percent of all Americans. You had your chance to privatize all public services. You had your chance to replace all food sources with FOX News. It's too late now. Taxbongo is going to get jailed for everything he has done. It's going to be so hilarious. Taxbongo is going to be on World's Wildest Impeachments, and John Bunnell is going to be like, "This liberal spendocrat thinks he can tax this country into financial ruin. But little does he know that change is coming to America." Enjoy the election. I know I will. Hahaha. Stupid libs. Eat it.

I give this a D-.You overused libs, and taxbongo to much as well as using the term spendocrat which bespeaks desperation. You also seems to upbeat to be real as by this time the Fark independents are well aware that Obama is projected to win and can only deny this with anger and misinformation. Your biggest flaw was however stating that all food sources should be replaced by Fox News, a statement that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and will ultimatly only confuse the reader not infuriate them which is what the desired reaction to a good troll post should be as you want the reader emotional not logical as they will be much more likely to bite then. I suggest giving it more practice and try using smaller statements containing spelling errors and incorrect information instead.

Duck_of_Doom: TalenLee: Win or lose, holy shiat do I want to see Mitt Romney's concession speech.

All he needs to say are 3 little words:

"It's God's will."

It would be amazing. No one will know what to do with it.

That's actually a given to show up, but the thing is, John McCain was able to be the better man and at least tried to be a gracious loser. Romney? I'm imagining him saying something Palin-level idiotic like 'The Real America still believes,' or slipping 'Those people will not,' or 'It's now our duty to resist,' or just something dog-whistley. But the look on his face, the tension, the raw misery that he can't let out.

He's sunk everything he can into being this, and it will be the first and most real time in his life he's been told No.

JonZ1618: This election, oddly enough, I'm breaking my own personal rules. I'm voting straight democrat without even knowing 2/3 of the candidates. The Republicans have gone off the deep end, and in 2008 and 2010 I abstained from voting in races I was unfamiliar with. Now, I've become just jaded enough to vote party line without a second thought. I really, truly, sincerely hope that I don't have to do that again in 2014 and 2016, and can instead vote for 3rd party candidates I like. It's just, after these past 4 years, I cannot in good conscience do anything to increase the chances of Republican victory, and that includes not voting for the Democrat. Again, given a few years time to cool their jets, I hope the Republicans come back to sanity and ignore or explicitly distance themselves from the crazier elements in their party, so that I won't have to make my vote an explicit attack upon them once again.

That's a myth. Conservatives have been batshiat for a long time. You just hear the batshiat more now due to increased media coverage. Although I will say they have become significantly more obstinate over the past decade.

Say what you will about Oregon's vote by mail system, but we don't have to deal with:

Standing in line

Driving or taking a bus to a polling place

Since we're voting in our homes (houses, apartments, condos, dorm rooms, etc.) we can dress
anyway we want to. Hell, we can be buck nekkid when we vote if that's what floats our boat

No worries about having the proper ID. Each voter's signature is compared with the one on file when you registered to vote. Voter fraud is very rare.

You can take your time filling out your ballot. No rush, no worry. If for some reason you miss the cut-off date to mail it in there are numerous places around town to drop it off.

I traditionally vote against the sitting judges but not since VanderPlaats got involved. I believe turnover is good for government, but I cannot give those socially regressive tards the satisfaction of appearing to side with them. I'll vote to retain all judges.

I understand that point of view, but yeah, in this case, it isn't about turnover, it's about 'punishing' the judges who ruled for marriage equality, and they've succeeded so far.

with iowa's constitution I'm not sure it matters who they throw out. there's a reason little black and white kids went to school together here over 80 years before brown vs. the topeka board of education. that's our constitution, which is a real pain to change, and was written by some forward looking republicans who would now be all RINOS and democrats. so it goes.

I stepped outside of my conservative bubble briefly last night. I had no idea the lefties were so convinced they were going to win too. Not being an Eeyore, but I was a little unnerved by it.

Then I went over to Breitbart's and they were there in all there true to form vileness. I figured if they were so sure they were winning why would they be trolling at Breitbarts?

Intrade is a NOT a poll of who will win, it is a measure of how many people put money on one side or the other

Usually that is a good indicator, but Obama voters are pretty stupid

If I could I would put $2K on Romney on Intrade TODAY

Nope. They'd already been removed from the envelopes and placed in the anonymity stack. No way to prove whose they were at the point. Two people get deprived of their rights because of this nimrod, even though it's easy to tell which ones she added -- she used a pencil and the originals were in ink.

They've been seized as evidence. It shouldn't make much difference -- if those two votes make any difference on the final totals for any race, there will be a lawsuit to include them, I'm sure.

Just like provisional ballots -- they don't count questioned votes unless mathematically they can make a difference to the tally.
