"One voice can change a room. If it can change a room, it can change a city. If can change a city, one voice, it can change a state. If it can change a state, it can the nation. And if you can change the nation, you can change the world."

I know, I know I try to get away but every time I do I end up back here...well really any of those three states would work for me. I need mountains and woods and so on.

Will it make me seem less nice if I confess to looking forward to watching the train-wreck-in-progress that is Election Day News Coverage in the US?

Omahawg: I voted early for the first time, on Saturday.

It felt weird and wrong and kind of dirty. I've always voted on November 6 my whole life.

In Iowa we're trying to keep a judge in office to keep gay marriage legal. Don't know how his odds are. I think the Kenyan will take Iowa again though and that keeps me happy. and so does this thread.

I traditionally vote against the sitting judges but not since VanderPlaats got involved. I believe turnover is good for government, but I cannot give those socially regressive tards the satisfaction of appearing to side with them. I'll vote to retain all judges.

Mike_LowELL: This is it. I'm so stoked. You know how liberals always talk about doves crying? Well tonight is a special edition of "When Libs Cry". All the hard work and determination and corporate money that went into the Mitchell "Thaddeus" Romney campaign is finally coming to fruition. And you know what? When all of you stupid libs get jailed for opposing the policies of the president, I won't feel bad for any of you. You had your chance to lower taxes on the wealthiest one percent of all Americans. You had your chance to privatize all public services. You had your chance to replace all food sources with FOX News. It's too late now. Taxbongo is going to get jailed for everything he has done. It's going to be so hilarious. Taxbongo is going to be on World's Wildest Impeachments, and John Bunnell is going to be like, "This liberal spendocrat thinks he can tax this country into financial ruin. But little does he know that change is coming to America." Enjoy the election. I know I will. Hahaha. Stupid libs. Eat it.

*snicker* I'm looking forward to the guy that thinks you're serious/trolling. 5,4,3...

Well he did come to 'Bama in '08 to Birmingham and well as much as I talk to some people they ain't listening. I thought this state had a chance but it's complex stupidity when people that make money from the military industrial complex and NASA speak out about people taking government handouts and shrinking the government, really that happens and they don't see it... it's well, I need to move, for my sanity

Cucullen: *snicker* I'm looking forward to the guy that thinks you're serious/trolling. 5,4,3...

I have heard numerous people accuse me of trolling. They accuse me of being inflammatory. But that is what you do when you are a liberal. Once people stop allowing you to raise taxes, you raise your fists in anger, and use them to type violent responses on internet message boards. But tonight, the only thing that's going to be raised is the flag of the United States of Mitt Romney. They need to deal with it.

I envision a loud screed about how the God of Kolob is going to strike down all of us peons, interrupted by Ryan sobbily exclaiming that he has to be at the gym in 26 minutes.

"It's God's will."

It would be amazing. No one will know what to do with it.

JonZ1618: This election, oddly enough, I'm breaking my own personal rules. I'm voting straight democrat without even knowing 2/3 of the candidates. The Republicans have gone off the deep end, and in 2008 and 2010 I abstained from voting in races I was unfamiliar with. Now, I've become just jaded enough to vote party line without a second thought. I really, truly, sincerely hope that I don't have to do that again in 2014 and 2016, and can instead vote for 3rd party candidates I like. It's just, after these past 4 years, I cannot in good conscience do anything to increase the chances of Republican victory, and that includes not voting for the Democrat. Again, given a few years time to cool their jets, I hope the Republicans come back to sanity and ignore or explicitly distance themselves from the crazier elements in their party, so that I won't have to make my vote an explicit attack upon them once again.

Ditto!
