I just want to post in one of the fark threads, that everytime I see Mitt on tv, talking, smiling, acting like he is everybody's friend...and then contrasting that with the Mitt from the 47% comments, the one who told a gay woman "I didn't know you people had families," the Mitt who hid and is continuing to hide his taxes, the Mitt who posed as a cop and pulled people over for fun, who shaved the head of a gay student and thought it was hilarious, the Mitt who dodged a war and spent school years in France, the Mitt who offshored american jobs to China and applauded the deplorable working conditions....everytime I see him I think about these things, and I feel so very terrible I can't be there in the room when he loses to say: "Even with all the money you spent, the lies you told, and the lives you've ruined to get where you are, America has seen through it all and declared you are unfit to run the greatest country in the world because YOU are a horrible human being."

I hope this comment doesn't come to bite me in the ass with a surprise Mitt win now.

Exactly. She's hoping that she can pick up some votes from people who aren't really paying attention and mistake this for Obama endorsing her.

Well, 80 million, thus far. I'm sure she'll round out that 100 million when she runs against Malloy for Governor in 2014.

I just died inside.

I have to give her credit though. She's been running these Obama + me ads for two weeks now that I've seen, and I just blew my in-laws mind when I told them that this is what she is doing. She targeted her audience well with the TV spots and mailings.

They'll still vote for her. Job creators are infallible.

I'm surprised Rebpicans in Oregon haven't tried this yet. It's not like Mitt really has a chance here.

Please; those are weekend warriors at best. They probably own a father and son contracting company.

Under Troll's Prez patch is one identifying him as a Minister. Obviously they're extremely upset with Biden's affiliation with the rival Allah's Angels MC.

For 100 million, she should have hired better debate coaches. I don't think she said a single sentence that wasn't prepared ahead of time, and her delivery was atrocious. She comes off as the alpha version of Romneybot, who's only glimmer of humanity was her (softened for the camera) biatchiness.

Someone with that much money likely has an inflated ego so goddamn big that they couldn't take the brutally honest advice a debate coach would offer. And if they're throwing a bunch of money at someone, that person is also likely to be less apt to give that brutally honest advice.

Honest answer, depending on if you have good relations with your printer and have someone in house who can design it (hey, 20 year old intern who knows Photoshop, get over here, grab some stock photos off Google and from the campaign file and get to work) you can turn it around in 48 hours easy.

Registered voters, what party they're registered to, where they're registered, and how likely they are to show up to the polls is public knowledge. Any major party campaign - especially at the national level in a tight race - has a database (add into that database phone and door knock results, plus other indicators of whether you lean right or left if you do it right). Any major party campaign can probably select targeted demographics and have a mailing list to send to the printer (or to print on labels to hand off to volunteers, correctly formatted) within an hour (depending on how fast your printer takes if you're printing the labels yourself).

With polls showing McMahon trailing Democratic candidate Chris Murphy heading into Tuesday - and also showing Connecticut remains a very blue state when it comes to presidential politics - McMahon has reached out to Obama voters a lot lately

She's behind and a Republican in Connecticut! And I guess she has no morals at all.

Yeah, but you just KNOW when the election is over and she's sharing a stage with Obama suddenly Romney's music will start playing and Linda will hit Obama with a chair, tearing off her pantsuit to reveal an elephant-skin leot...oh mah GAWD, King, that's her skin! THAT'S HER SKIN!

Good job, Linda.

Anyone who this might have worked on is already sick to death of the tens of millions you've spent trying to buy the Senate seat, and it will only piss off your conservative supporters even more than that commercial did.
