Yeah I know. I grew up in the 80s, but loved it when I could finally conquer a video game by reaching the end. Super Mario Bros was the first for me. It was a fulfilling moment...ahhh.

72,540, but only becuase I lost interest at level 20 and let it end. I didn't know how to use my megascuds, so I just kept them and earned about 2300 bonus points every round. Since the missle trajectories aren't specifically aimed at the bases, and there's no apparent penalty for letting them hit your launcher, there's only a small piece of real estate to protect when you get down to one base, and you could pretty much keep going that way forever.
