I understand people of the north east coast are going through hardship, but please, no. Please, no. I can't take any more of this election cycle. Please. Think of the swing-staters.

Well if you swing-staters would just make up your mind and go one way or the other you wouldn't have to worry about it. See how simple it is?

New York is not a swing state and any delay only delays the inevitable. At least the ads anywhere else will stop.

Rep. Charles B. Rangel, New York Democrat, said on Fox News on Saturday that that would result in a drawn-out ordeal that would leave politicians hanging.

OH NOES! We can't leave politicians hanging!

I made up my mind about two years ago.

I doubt it would affect the presidency, but it could affect the state assembly elections.

I can think of quite a few that could use a good hanging.

It's not a bad idea, my area is still getting power on and I'm a mile or two away from Long Beach and Oceanside, NY. The homes there are completely decimated. I can't imagine voter turn out is going to be decisive, hell they'll probably have

After Wednesday he'll be done with campaigning and can join the rest of the 'chosen' by REALLY farking over the poor like their religion teaches.

As long as New York and New Jersey get their electors in by the deadline, who cares how long the election itself lasts? With things like vote-by-mail and actual early voting becoming more and more common, we're moving towards a system where "Election Day" is a month long and the traditional November Tuesday is the simply the final day of voting...

Election Day should be a national holiday held on a Monday with polling stations open the Saturday and Sunday prior.

So the White House will be taking in the homeless now, how thoughtful.

Go fark yourself. Mr. Romney and Mr. Obama (along with their respective parties) are about as far apart as it is possible for two candidates to be in our modern political system. There is an overwhelming abundance of information on both men and their policies available at the click of a mouse. If you haven't yet made up your mind which candidate you prefer, that can only be because you're intentionally keeping yourself ignorant.

Find a less destructive way to attention-whore, please.

Yeah, I'm really not getting all the hate here.

Let me try and make myself more clear.

AS A PERSON LIVING IN A SO CALLED 'SWING STATE,' I'M farkING TIRED OF ALL THE ADVERTISEMENTS AND MORONIC UNDECIDEDS. I WANT IT TO BE OVER ALREADY!

Sail The Wide Accountancy: I doubt it would affect the presidency, but it could affect the state assembly elections.

What happens when voters see that the President has already won? Do Republicans stay home and not vote in the other elections? Do Democrats stay home because they got what they want? Do Democrats go to the polls because they want to vote for the winning team?

I live in AZ, nothing even resembling a swing state, and I'm tired of all the ads. Yes, we actually get presidential ads here, including Obama ads. (And someone got in a plane and wrote ROMNEY in the sky over Phoenix yesterday.)

I can't image how bad it is in a place like Ohio or Florida.

I made my mind up during the debt ceiling fiasco to never vote Republican again unless there is a massive make-over in the party bring it back to the center and having it put America first. I am an Ohio voter.

This has nothing to do with you, Cythraul, but I was reminded of it. I saw an article a week ago about undecided voters, and they interviewed one woman who said something along the lines of "I'm not sure I want to vote for Romney because he'll take away my rights, but under Obama my husband and I both have to work." I'm still not sure how to respond to that, it's just so ridiculous.

New York is a solid blue state. We won't have to wait on them to know who won the election.

The last New York politician to prove that he was well hung was forced to resign in shame.

That seemed silly to me. And to be fair, it seemed just as silly when Republican Chris Lee had to resign for similar "offense" involving a shirtless photo.
