Anyone else not trust off-screen deaths on this show? They seem to have very little problem showing the characters getting killed in all kinds of violent ways, why suddenly so shy?

I did enjoy the half hour of watching them rearrange vehicles. It looked the the prison had valet parking.

Jebus that episode was a kick in the gut. My only take is that I am sad to see Tdog go and mixed on Lori. It does seem like they ahve an instant replacement for Tdog in the one prosoner .... I just wonder if the mustach man is going to take Lori's place in Rick's heart and bed?

I am just thinking how AMC is going to "show" the continuous rape of Michonne. I know they have leeway being on cable but a month-long rape? This is the show. This is what a good zombie story is: Drama with a horror background. A horror-tinged soap opera, for lack of a better phrase.

If you want a lot of action and less character development, I suggest picking up recent zombie movies like "2012 Zombie Apocalypse" or "Resident Evil" or the 3D remake of "Night of the Living Dead" (which bears NO resemblance to the Romero or Savini versions, but does at least have Sid Haig being gross.)

If you don't like the show, then give up and find something else. There's certainly no shortage of zombie flicks out there now.

Cute. I see you've fallen for this line of shiat, too. I know, it's an easy snare, you get to sound more sophisticated without having to understand what writing a TV show is actually about. When the show gets so slow that encountering and killing zombies becomes just a footnote, you've got an issue. Sure, you can get up on your special little soapbox and make ADHD jokes, but it doesn't impress me. 4 weeks of arguing on a farm does nothing to make the show interesting or 'fresh', it just takes a small amount of actual material and stretches it out over as long a span as possible. Whenever they DO get a new piece of drama to deal with, they knock it out ASAP and get back to bickering. The prisoners they ran into inside are a good example, that lasted almost no time, and now we'll get 4 weeks of them wandering around the prison with no new plot development, except that they killed some zombies. Someone will probably cut themselves at some point, and they'll have 5 tense minutes while they embark on a major run to get supplies, then they'll return to clearing the prison or arguing. The whole thing with the 'Governor' may play out well at least.

Like I said, you obviously don't know how this works, but the pacing in this show is horrible. It started out well, and has turned ...

So why are you even bothering to post (at length) here? Just move on with your life already.

Because unlike the people who seemingly Poston boards like this because they had nothing else to do, I actually watch the show, you stupid ass.

And I'm pretty sure Michonne signed her own death warrant by subtly telling the governor that she knows he killed the guardsmen.

I thought that might be coming, because I've heard he was a bad guy in the comics, but it still surprised me. I would think a group of trained soldiers would be an asset to someone trying to "rebuild civilization", but I guess it's a power thing. Lucky he can trust every one of the shooters to not say a word...

And writing T-Dog out of the show, so that he can recover from his wounds and have his own spin-off show was brilliant. While I think Darrel could help resolve a conflict between Merle and Rick, I think T-Dog or Merle would have had to die when those two met up. Now that T-Dog is fighting zombies on his own in sunny Miami, that won't be a problem.

T-Dog does get credit for having the Dale Memorial Character Arc in the span of about twenty minutes: he goes from arguing for compassion in regards to the convicts to getting bit to getting eaten in less time than it would take Dale to yell at Shane for being a creep.
