Mugato: I never saw an episode of MASH but did they ever explain why there was an 11 year old show about a 3 year war? Like was there a sci-fi/ it was all in their head/Jacob's Ladder explanation? Because that would be pretty cool.

Maybe because it was commentary on the Vietnam war using the Korean War as a setting. And it was a popular show, which means it ran longer.

MagSeven: I had a friend wait on her once. Apparently this woman is a gigantic asshole.

So, she was just being herself in "S.O.B." then?

Well, 3 years is what, 1095 days? And each episode usually was only about a day or two.

/So then at one episode a week for 20 some weeks...
//= TV timewarp

Yeah, I guess they could get away with that. And I guess war ages a person so they could pull off a guy looking a decade older after a couple years. . I suppose there weren't any kids on the show, that could present a problem.

ThatGuyFromTheInternet: How many nurses did they need anyways? Four doctors (more earlier on), supplemented by dozens of nurses? I never got that.

Well duh, the nurses do all the real work.

Why were you contemplating how hot your mom was while she watched MASH?

I like her, but she should have aged naturally.

I don't like the idea of most of the stars of MASH being 75+ though. Nothing better happen to Alan Alda.
