Any Giants fans have some scoop on Ahmad Bradshaw? I can't seem to find anything substantial on him aside from that he's not 100 percent but is expected to play. Either way, I suspect Brown and Wilson will be vulturing some of his TD opportunities.

W/R: A "probable" Jacoby Jones in Cleveland or Marcus Thigpen in Indy? I know Harbaugh's farking with the NFL right now so I'm mostly sure I'm okay with Jones, but still...

Also, probable Matt Bryant or Justin Tucker?

I'd go with Jones. Isn't he returning kicks, too?

He is. Again, it's a question of how probable is he given the situation. I'm leaning towards him either way....

Titus Young or Mike Williams?

2012-11-04 11:06:44 AM
My only decision this week is Torrey Smith vs Cleveland and their improving Pass D now that Haden has been back, or Andre Roberts vs the Packers somewhat soft secondary, playing in Green Bay. For now, I'm leaning towards Robers, as I think Arizona will have to throw it a bit in that game, and Skelton seems to like to target him (also Fitz will draw their only good cover corner, Tramon Williams). For whatever reason, I just dont see Torrey having a huge game like he did against Cleveland earlier in the year, when Haden was on suspension.

Thoughts anyone?

(This is for my 3rd WR position, so it's not like it's a game breaker for me, but still)

HeathenHealer: Titus Young or Mike Williams?

Definitely Titus Young, he has the better matchup and his role will be increased due to Megatron's injury.

2012-11-04 11:07:47 AM
Please help, I have no idea who to start this week! I have 2 RB spots, 2 WR spots and a WR/RB spot. It isn't a PPR league, just straight up yards and TDs, but you get an extra 2 points every 5 receptions. Here are who I have to choose from:

RBs:
Marshawn Lynch (vs Vikes)
Adrian Peterson (vs Seahawks)
Willis McGahee (vs Cinci)

WRs:
Vincent Jackson (vs Oak)
Andre Johnson (vs Buffalo)
Steve Smith (vs Redskins)
Torrey Smith (vs Cleveland)

So I need to pick 5 of these 7 with at least 2 of each. Any help? Right now I have Lynch and McGahee starting along with Jackson, Johnson and S. Smith, but I'm not sure sitting AP is the right move. The WRs have been up and down all season, but all have great match ups, so I think it may be luck of the draw?

Johnson is still supposed to play, albeit in a limited role. The defense will still have to respect him and roll coverage his way. Jacksonville is also not exactly a stud defensive unit

I do not see how you can sit Adrian Peterson, he has run strong the last few weeks and looks to be all the way back. If your league is not PPR i would start all 3 RB along with Vincent Jackson and Torrey Smith.

Pretty much to the point where I'd trade Megatron and Chris Johnson for some socks and a bottle of gatorade.

I had Sidney Rice at flex but I replaced him with Andre Roberts after some fantasy expert told me he would have a huge week (and those guys are never wrong). THOUGHTS?

I would think any Ravens WR not named Anquan Boldin would be a pretty good play. Boldin, of course, will be mainly covered by Haden.

Also, the other way is probably good too. With all the Ravens' D problems, Richardson, Gordon, and possibly Little would be good starts today. (I'd hold out on Massaquoi until after the Browns' bye, though.)

I have Johnson, Kendall Wright, or Greg Little as options for me.

Cruz
J Nelson
D Moore ( a must start lately)
M Williams
Titus Young
James Jones

I can start 3, and I'm benching Cruz and Nelson. Time will tell whether I'm retarded or a genius. Cruz is playing the #1 pass D, coming off a lame week. Nelson is active, but has a hammy issue going into a bye week. McCarthy will play him limited. They cant afford another Greg Jennings issue.

Jones will snipe Jordy's normal targets, and Williams, Moore and Young are just ridiculous lately.

/Is there a term for 'anti-sleeper'? (the guys who are SUPPOSED to play big, but get shut down.)

Yes a WR could break out but, on average, the RBs will almost always get more touches. The 3 RB's you listed are quality starts so I just see no need to sit him.

Of the WR you listed Vincent Jackson is a no brainer start in my mind, Torrey Smith is more of a matter of taste. Andre Roberts or Steve Smith could do equally as well or better, however Smith already torched Cleveland once this season. Couple that with Cam Newton's struggles affecting Steve Smith's potential and Andre Roberts having John Skelton throwing to him and it just tilts things ever so slightly towards Torrey Smith.

That said I don't think you would be making a gigantic error or anything no matter which one of those 3 you start.

Jones is playing at home and has been wildly inconsistent this season. Yes, his potential is tremendous but at this point in the season I'd favor consistency over potential.

Question for everyone: This week I completed a trade where I sent Julio Jones and Jermichael Finley away for Vernon Davis and Pierre Garcon. Clearly I gave up more in the trade, however my remaining WR are Percy Harvin, Reggie Wayne, and Danny Amendola. PPR league as well. I wanted a stud TE for the stretch run and playoffs and felt comfortable dealing Jones due to his inconsistency and my depth at the position. Was it still a bad trade for me?

Thanks for the thoughts, I recognize that Davis has not produced recently but coming out of the bye and down the stretch I just do not see him being left out of the 49ers offense. Crabtree's big game the other week means defenses will need to respect him more which should open up opportunity for Davis.

I probably did give up too much and 'lost' the trade but I'm 6-2 and almost locked in for the playoffs so there is low risk. Plus Finley blows.

Desean Jackson, Nate Washington, Anquan Boldin, Vick Ballard, or Jermichael Finley?

I get your reasoning, but you might be a serious over thinker.

mephisto6: Welker on bye, Jennings still hurt, leaves me with Josh Gordon, Fred Jackson, or Pierre Thomas at the flex.
What i do?

Jackson will get you about 7. Gordon 4 or 14. I'd be surprised if Thomas gets much play.

Jones.

Jackson. It should be a shootout.

recoil47: My only decision this week is Torrey Smith vs Cleveland and their improving Pass D now that Haden has been back, or Andre Roberts vs the Packers somewhat soft secondary, playing in Green Bay.

The problem with Roberts will be the Pack's pass rush - especially given how porous the Arizona O-line is...

Yeah, i have Gordon in atm. Sproles being out though has me thinking Thomas gets more play. Thanks though.

Garcon won't be usable till at least week 11.

Now that is definitely true. I consistently am the guy every season who ends with the most transactions.

Jennings should get you 9-11 points. Gordon 4 or 14. I like the the choice.

runaway06: Calvin Johnson or Antonio Brown?

When you draft a stud, you stick with your stud. But Calvin is making that difficult this year.

Eli Manning or Andy Dalton?

/I'm leaning Eli, since I figure he'll have one of those rebuild New Jersey / unflood Staten Island performances that seem common in the wake of tragedies
//and Dalton has been confusing the Bengals' jerseys with the other team's jerseys of late

Thing with Megatron is, his stats, aside from TD's, are almost the same as last year.
That said, Johnson's been playing hurt, and I've heard that if he plays, he may have limited playing time today.

Pick two of the following (standard scoring):

Mike Wallace
Mike Williams
Josh Gordon
Miles Austin
Randall Cobb

I'm leaning toward the Mikes due to matchups.

Jones.

Agreed. I'd go with the guy getting thrown to by Rogers over the guy getting thown to by Flacco.

Brees or RG3?

Steve Smith or Vincent Jackson? Steve Smith seems to have the better matchup but you just never know when Jackson is going to go nuts this year.

Nice crew. I'd go Austin and Williams, but they all have good potential this week.

Brees. Should be a shoot out.

Smith. He's picked up, and this is a great match up.

Dez Bryant iffy for tonight

RG3 will get points on the ground. Prob rushing TDs too. The Eagles pass D should limit Brees a bit.

Doctor Funkenstein: Any Giants fans have some scoop on Ahmad Bradshaw? I can't seem to find anything substantial on him aside from that he's not 100 percent but is expected to play. Either way, I suspect Brown and Wilson will be vulturing some of his TD opportunities.

if you have another 4pm back just wait it out. as long as bradshaw plays hes worth starting.

though thats easy for me to say...i have andre brrown and bradshaw

Good, I started both Romo and Austin. Bryant sitting means A. More catches for Miles B. Less interceptions for Romo

Okay Jordy Nelson owners. He's active. Are you starting him or sitting him?

I don't have him but he is now a primary receiver. Unless you only have two spots and two studs I'd say start him

2012-11-04 01:03:24 PM
Isaac Redman (starting but hurt)
Felix Jones (starting but hurt)
Micheal Bush (second in line)

Redman is the projected favourite but not by much.

Good, I need this. Relatively close game that wouldn't be close if I started Schaub over Romo today. But this bodes well for me with Witten going. Romo will be going to his safety net all day hopefully.

Started Doug Martin. Feels good man
