wow, that's a lot of glue he's sniffing.

440? Really?

I've taken LSD and not been that delusional.

Cocaine is a helluva drug.

It's possible, but only if he loses DC or VT.

Dean Chambers thinks you're being a BIT unrealistic.

This is why his judgment should be totally respected

Isn't Jim Cramer the guy who predicts the exact opposite of what actually happens?

2012-11-04 07:10:34 AM
When I first saw him, in the first Ironman movie, I thought he was over the top, and had no idea he existed outside the movie.

That'd be the guy.

I don't think so.

Huh. I guess the left has some crazies, too. Or maybe it was a typo and he meant 340? Even that's a bit OTT, but at least it's not insane.

2012-11-04 07:15:45 AM
First compelling evidence I've seen that Obama won't be reelected.

Actually that's only ten more electoral votes than the single most likely occurring outcome by Silver's metrics. So it's improbable but not highly so.

How unskewed of him.

440 to 98, huh? I'm surprised he even got it to add up to 538.

Yup. Him claiming it's in the bag for Obama scares me a lot. Hopefully he's just wrong about the size of Obama's victory and not whether or not Obama will win.

Well, he is obviously full of shiat. But the idea of TX going blue makes me smile. Then reality....*sigh* - I do recall in early 2008 a caller on NPR saying that if Obama got the nomination, North Carolina would vote blue. The panel (Diane Rehm show) laughed it off as impossible. You never know.

2012-11-04 07:25:58 AM
Goddamnit, this means a Romney win.

Jim Cramer: the perfect emblem of the river-of-shiat non-entertainment TV world that is 21st century America.

North Carolina is substantially more likely to go blue than Texas. Texas' demographics may lead to it going blue eventually, but not in 2012. This is a state that elects Rick Perry.

He must be taking into account Romney giving even more people meningitis before the election.

Crack, bad for you it is.

2012-11-04 07:37:31 AM
Maybe he was just being funny. Or trying to balance out things liked unskewed polls.

Meh either way, he's wrong, and should be laughed at.

Why does anyone give a fark what this snake oil barker thinks? He doesn't do financial news, he does entertainment.

Seriously, hasn't he already discredited himself as more, less a fraud.

2012-11-04 07:40:05 AM
Never heard of him.

Ah, crap. Cramer is the man who recommended Lehman as a "screaming buy" shortly before it went bankrupt. And that was one of his better picks.

One of the few good ways for an amateur to make fast money in the market is to short whatever Cramer is recommending. Wait for a couple of days for the dumb money that follows his show to bid it up, then bail.

There is NO POSSIBLE WAY Obama wins Georgia...Romney like McCain will win Georgia by 8 or more points...

2012-11-04 07:42:59 AM
Obama will likely win the election but it will be much closer than 440 to 98...lol

Smoking GNU: Never heard of him.

He's been president for almost four years now.

I'm just not convinced when I read it. Maybe if I could see a video of him saying it completely red-faced while he throws things and pushes buttons that trigger wacky noises...

This is the guy who got his butt handed to him by a comedian, right?

You shouldn't stay in the public eye after something like that. Go learn to be a nail technician or something.

Well, him and Tucker Carlson.

In any rational world, he would be a lock attendant on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, and only allowed to open his mouth at feeding time. He is a perfect example of the modern disconnect between "success" and "merit".

There's a path to 440 without TX. It would just be easier with TX.

Jim Cramer is the William Kristol of the stock market.

Short a stock, wait for it to get bid up, then cover? That doesn't sound like a very good way to make money. Or, do you mean, wait a few days for it to get bid up, then short?

2012-11-04 08:08:50 AM
Wow. Jim Cramer being a bombastic and flashy attention whore? But then, Business Insider is also publishing the guesses of a politics editor, a horse-racing columnist, and a political reporter as if they carry some weight. How about a real statistician predicting Obama:332, Romney :206.

In order to make this work, you need to give Obama states like WY or KY or LA.

I wish I could be paid an ass-ton of money to be professionally and reliably full of shiat, just like Jim Kramer.

Business Insider, on the other hand, didn't. Read the story carefully.

Also, you might think the comments on that site would be at least partially intelligent. They aren't. The internet is a derpfest.

The states where kids change from Democrats to Republicans when they grow up are the states with corporal punishment in schools.

Even when Jim Kramer's right about something, he's right in the wrongest, idiotic way.
