Except their policy positions, their governing philosophy, their life experiences, who they are willing to work with, how much money anonymous billionaires have donated to them, and which supreme court justices they would appoint. Other than those trivial things, they are mirror images of eachother. At most that's only like 6 cents worth of differences.

He ties it in with recent events that make the whole thing relevant to me. I bought an ice cream maker last week and today I'll be winging it with a Dr. Pepper and peanuts experiment. After that, Orange Julius frozen custard.

In case anyone is on the cusp of an ice cream maker decision - I bought the attachment for the Kitchen Aid mixer and I am not impressed with it. It has the saltwater sealed in permanently so you have to freeze the bowl rock solid before you use it. And all the ingredients need to be chilled. What liquid there is warms up pretty fast so I can't imagine the thing would even work in the Summertime. I might still go out and buy a normal ice cream maker.

Except regulations against banks betting on penny stocks, a shift toward green energy options, pell grant funding, birth control availability and what happens to gays in the military. Oh, and godhelpus if we all get a 20 percent tax cut. There won't be much jet-skiing at formerly public parks, for one thing.

Frozen custard normally sounds delicious, but I made a chocolate truffle pie (with Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips) and a chocolate-espresso crust for brunch today. A tiny slice of that completely filled all my dessert needs for a couple of days. Plus, I already voted.
