Excellent find, subby. I found an old issue of Batman (#244 - September 1972) that I remember buying at the 7-Eleven when I was 10 years old. Ra's Al Ghul had been resurrected by the Lazarus Pit and his mysterious and beautiful daughter Talia was involved in the story.

Great stuff! :-D

This was probably my favorite comic ever. It was fun to live in Cincinnati in 1976 if you liked baseball.

Cool. It was neat checking out what else was on the newsstand with my Iron Man #2 and Amazing Spider Man 23 and 24.

These are just sorted by cover month, not by when they really came out.

They didn't factor in the tendency of books to be late from the past decade, Like when Wolverine # 73 came out before Wolverine #72. However, this list has everything for Wolverine from 2009 in order of issue number.

Nope.

They just adjusted for the two month difference between the time the books are supposed to go on sale and the cover date.

It's still an impressive site, and can give you a rough estimate of when books came out. But it's not accurate on when books actually came out.

Weird. I could have sworn X-Factor #14 was the first comic I bought but it turns out Star Brand #1 came out 6 months earlier, which I also bought.

That's just some stupid Javascript catching your right click.
There isn't really anything disabled; similar to pop-ups, it's up to your browser if it will honor bullshiat moves like that.

If you use Firefox:
i.imgur.com

If you use the less dumbed-down version (Seamonkey):

i.imgur.com

If you use some other browser: well, that's your problem; it might have a similar option.

/you might have to keep the right button pressed while selecting "save image as.." (when you release the button, the box with the copyright notice will pop up and your browser probably won't display both, i.e. it will close the context menu again to show the popup)

The saddest thing about looking at this, is seeing how many comic books there used to be, say, 30 years ago...then you look up the current publication month and see how few there are, anymore.

Just like for movies and television, the best year in comic books was 1984.

Sue never wore shiny metallic-looking Power Pack boots. And while the Invisible Woman isn't exactly the most voluptuous female in Marvel comics, she most definitely does not have the figure (nor height nor haircut) of a kindergarten-aged boy.

Aboleth: I don't think that's the Tattletale costume. That Power Pack costume had I think an eye not a "4".

True. Looks like Franklin is for some reason wearing the Power Pack ‶Tattletale" boots but with his pajamas or T-shirt (look carefully: it actually does say ‶4½" in the circle [which only Franklin ever wore, not Sue ― heads up, fzumrk and urban.derelict!], not ‶4").

Better yet, who the hell would pay $5.96 for it?
Not a comic book guy, but I remember seeing the premier of The Adventures of Ford Fairlane with Andrew Dice Clay at the theater. They were giving away bumper stickers & comics. Yup, he has those listed also.
