He's 23 years old and wanted to stay out past curfew on his birthday, so he asked permission like he was supposed to. It sure seems like he's trying to get onto the right track to me. This is the biggest non-story since "Water still wet".

I think js34603's point is that they even need to give a 23 year old employee a curfew and that he has to ask permission in the first place.

Who said I was fine with it? I would certainly prefer him to behave himself of his own free will, but what does getting pissed about it solve? And honestly, I didn't elect him to be our star player. It's not a democracy. But if our "star player" (which he's not really, I'd probably put that on Witten) needs a babysitter to keep him out of trouble, then yeah, I'll take the babysitter. What do you want me to do about it? Vote him out?

That's why he is always making those precise route adjustments that miraculously lead to Romo interceptions somehow, completely unrelated to Bryant not knowing what the fark he's supposed to be doing. Probably because he was headbutting some other relatives or breaking curfew.

You seem awfully riled up about someone who plays for a team you obviously hate. I mean, you do realize his mom is not the most um.... reliable & wholesome person, right? And he never really had a dad in his life, so yeah, maybe Jerry putting some sort of chaperone on him isn't the worst thing ever. Josh Hamilton has a chaperone. Do you make a big to-do about that, too?

Not everyone grew up the way you think they should've. Not everyone had a kind & loving & non-felonious mother. Dez is big, strong, fast, & talented. He's also a dumbass. You won't find very many people who will tell you he's not. So I guess I don't understand your outrage here. Or maybe you're just trolling. Maybe that's the real Poe's Law action going on here.....

He SHOULDN'T need it, but that's now how it is. That's not reality. You can either bristle about how things SHOULD be or you can deal with the situation at hand. The Cowboys are protecting their investment & I don't see how that is a bad thing or how it affects anyone else.

And no one ever got back to me on why it's OK for Josh Hamilton.... who is 8 years older, by the way.... to have a handler & not Dez. Is it because he's white? Is it because he's married? Is it because he was down & out and now he's not? Is it because he talks about Jesus all the time? Seriously, why?
