DaCaptain19: cryinoutloud: I have a theory about what I call "do-gooder groups." All of them, from the local animal shelter to the PTA to organized religion.

They attract crazy, narcissistic people. Any good that might come out of them is destroyed by all the people who only join them for a power trip. It's too bad, really. And the reason I never join any of them. Let society decay around me. I'm not going to be guilt-tripped into hanging around with a bunch of nuts ever again.

smitty04: Animal activists and other members of Progressive groups feel they are entitled to the use of harassment, threats, intimidation and violence to force their views upon the rest of society.

Like churches, right? Well-known for their progressive views.

You seem to have a huge narcissistic streak going right through you, buddy. You've stated the reason you don't join any groups is that you feel superior to them...how crazy and narcissistic is THAT?!

See, that's the thing about narcissism...the narcissistic are the last people who believe they are...narcissistic.

You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you.

I don't join them because I don't like being surrounded by people with big egos. If my ego somehow needed fortifying, I'd be all over that. Nowhere did I say that I think I'm "better than them." I'm just not like that.

You seem to have a lot invested in putting me down, some random person on the internet, to the point where you'd misrepresent my words to support your own agenda. Hmmm. So how many do-gooder groups do you belong to?

IT'S ONLY THE OTHER SIDE THAT DOES THAT. NOT MY SIDE.

Animal Rights activists - The most obvious group of terrorists wandering the streets freely you will ever encounter. The only ones that aren't are so mentally unstable and in touch with their "fluffy" side, they might as well be used for shampoo testing anyway.

/Cranks or Crooks, take your pick - no exceptions.

But their views are the rights ones!
