Had subby been kind enough to show us this before the bust, one of us might have found this information useful.

They offered to perfrom 'sex acts' in exchange for money, in case you were wondering.

In other words, they were a massage parlor.

Maricopa Sheriff's Office? Sounds like someone didn't pay their protection money or threatened Savior Joe's re election.

Actually, there can be. I know a few legitimate* professional masseuses who work primarily in therapeutic sports massage that are very pissed off that so many massage parlors are just fronts for places that offer just happy endings to places that are full on brothels. So many are fronts that the legitimate ones are in the minority and have to make clear that they do not offer anything more than massage. Clients walk in assuming they will get more and leave pissed off if they do not.

Legalizing and regulating prostitution would make is safer for society and everyone involved and not involved. And would allow folks like legitimate* massage therapists to not be hassled and saddled with a reputation they do not want or deserve.

/*How sad is it that the term 'legitimate' needs to be added?

One of my wife's very good friends is a receptionist at a legit and expensive day spa/massage place. She says that she gets a call at least once a day with the guy on the other end basically saying this: "Uhh, hi...ummm...I need a massage...do you all...ummm..you know...add in any extras at the end of the massage...???"

She says shes gotten to the point of shaming the guys for being gross and possibly unfaithful. Apparently, because they have caller ID, they are able keep a log of the numbers that call in asking for this and they have started banning those people from making appointments.

Nice to see that the article includes a map. That will be handy for when they re-open.

poe_zlaw: dude. she must be a nut case. She's smoking hot.

It seems that encasing the nuts was what got her in trouble.

certain performances were banned for being too risky. no seal of approval for those kinds of performances.
