You see Brendan thought he should, indeed, wheeze the juice while Howard Gordon insisted there would be no wheezin' the juice.

nowt wrong with Encino Man. You can totally see through Robin's skirt just before she gets in the car before the driving lesson scene

The idea screamed "Fletch" at me, even though I am a huge fan of "Homeland." Odds are, I'd give the show a chance (if only because I didn't think they could pull off a second season of "Homeland" and it might be better than the first as of now) but it sounds kind of cheesy at best.

Also, isn't Brandon Fraiser one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood, thanks to "The Mummy" franchise?

Fraser is a first-class actor who appears in a lot of crap to pay the bills. But someone who was in Gods and Monsters, The Quiet American and Crash doesn't have to apologize for his acting chops, or his ability to know a good role.

I've enjoyed many a Brendan Fraser movie. Not recently though. I watched Furry Vengeance with my son, good god that was awful.

GotJ was a wonderful movie. Not just for the eye candy.

Dude was a perfect George, and it captured the spirit of the old Jay Ward cartoons perfectly.

/also, some of the best episodes of Scrubs had Brendan Fraser in them, just sayin'.

I've always been of the opinion that Brendan Fraser is a much better actor than his existing body of work might suggest. It's just a shame he doesn't get offered better movies.

He's like a caricature of a leading man. Unfortunately he tends to overact really badly, and he's unintelligent looking, which relegates him to primarily cartoony/stupid roles.

Just one question, Subby...who'd win in a fight, Lemmy or God?

/trick question

2012-11-03 12:42:21 PM
Being in a movie you don't care for has two main things going for it: You get paid anyway, and it is over and done with pretty quickly.

Being in a TV series that you don't care for is lacking in that second one.

/Lemmy is God
