Stands to reason. Daniel Craig is a total badass and Daniel Radcliffe is a little pansy waving a stick.

James Bond slays Harry Potter

If only.

Not yet, not until he gets Emma Watson, Katie Leung, Afshan Azad, Safali Chowdhury, Bonnie Wright, and Evanna Lynch to be bond girls.

And this was maybe the first James Bond where we feel that 007 is a genuine character with feelings and backgrounds.

james bond died long ago. the pantywaists that make a mockery of a once manly fictional character are poofsters of the highest order and not worthy of viewing. roger moore was barely worthy of shining sean connerys shoes. the twatwaffles playing 007 after moore signed on for scripts written by womens rights groups and choreographed by jackie chan wanna-be's. sadness deluxe. i'm sure you'll all shriek with joy the day Hollywood money suckers introduce gay james bond. best of luck scoring that barbie collectible you've been hunting for on eBay.

I need to go home. I read the headline as "plays", not "slays"...

Perhaps, but it's certainly the best M ever. Kind of a shame it took 50 years before the film series bothered to explore a secondary character in such depth.

I believe I've seen three Bond films, all back in the '60s.

Read all of the books, though.

To be fair, there has been resistance. For example, Jeremy Clarkson (who is usually brilliant on TG, IMHO) has complained that Skyfall is requires too much thinking and he's previously slagged Craig for not dying his hair black (Clarkson said Bond can only have blue eyes, black hair, and white skin).

Psychologist: Gun.
Bond: Shot.
Psychologist: Agent.
Bond: Provocateur.
Psychologist: Murder.
Bond: Employment.
Psychologist: Skyfall.

That rule only applies to North American movies.

Eh, I've fallen for this too many times to get my hopes up anymore. Not to mention I thought Casino and Quantum were among the very worst Bond flicks. Hope I'm wrong though.

To be fair, although I love Top Gear, Clarkson strikes me as a close-minded, jingoistic prick.

I disliked Quantum but thought Casino was a great Bond flick.

One of the best lines of the flick (slightly spoilerish)

"...go on, eject me, see if I care."

Had the audience applauding afterwards.
