(Business Insider)   Not to worry anyone or anything, but another storm is coming to New England and should arrive next Tuesday with lots of wind and snow. Luckily, there's nothing important happening next Tuesday, right?   ( businessinsider.com) divider line

You'd think that the storm would be blocked by a large warm front over the US, generated by two years of hot air being generated.

Business Insider is another fearmongering Republican site.

So far, it's mostly-sunny and 40s on election day with a 50% chance of voter fraud sweeping in later in the day. Then, a weak, but still annoying, Nor'easter on Wednesday afternoon should bring in enough off-shore rage to bring back that authentic NYC charm. And, stop getting your weather reports from the Business Insider.

Turn to Zombo.com where all things are possible.

Another argument for early voting. Allowing voter turnout to be influenced by a single day in November is farking stupid.

Carth: Another argument for early voting. Allowing voter turnout to be influenced by a single day in November is farking stupid.

Fortunately, early voting is something that can be accomplished with a grassroots campaign. Since early voting is controlled by your state a coordinated letter/call/e-mail campaign to your state reps is easier than having to get the feds involved.

In Georgia a grassroots campaign got the issue on the ballot for referendum and now we have it.

Only if you are a Democrat, or did I get that backwards for this election cycle.

But a storm on Wednesday is less newsworthy.

They're still making Halo games? I thought the video game industry died right after Skyrim came out because it still hasn't left my xbox.

Well, those people South of New England might have trouble with a bit of snow on Election Day, but a little snow'd never stop a Mainer from voting.

Best reason that early voting should be allowed in every state, at least 2 weeks before the election.

I live in Massachusetts. Weather report says dry and in the high 40s.
Checked NY, where my mother lives. Same thing
I'll be in VT for a conference the day after - show the week prior, NOTHING predicted for election day.

Actually, there's not anything important happening. Yes, vast numbers of Boobus Americanus will think they're "making a difference" by voting for either statist warmonger candidate A or statist warmonger candidate B, but in the end it's all just mental masturbation and jerking off, as Carlin pointed out.

2012-11-02 10:38:39 AM
No, you're right. Nothing important is happening next Tuesday. Either dumbass #1 or dumbass #2 is going to be elected. Regardless we're still just as screwed, no matter who wins.

Neither one of these guys is going to do anything to fix the deficit or the economy.

Let it snow.

Hey now, all the Romney/Obama fans on my Facebook promise me that their team is so different than the rest! And they let me know with random posts about it every day, so you just know they know what they are talking about.

For the record, the storm in question will actually be affecting the Carolinas on Tuesday.

2012-11-02 10:53:47 AM
Well, if it actually does come to NE on Election Day, I doubt it will affect anything about the outcome of the Presidential election since we're all pretty solidly Obama (except NH, but I really, really doubt he'll lose there).

wxboy: For the record, the storm in question will actually be affecting the Carolinas on Tuesday.

They're pretty solidly Romney. So yeah, I don't think this will really affect the final outcome.

Fix it for you?
See, there is your problem. You are expecting them to work for you, not their respective Political Gang.
You have it all backwards. Which is why it was all written down in some rag called a Constitution, once upon a time. Your political gangs are going to victimize you. Certain! It is not called a givernment.

There are laws on the books prohibiting the sociopathic partisan subversion that is every day business as usual these days.
Sedition, treason, profiteering, being a total lying chithead. We need to enforce them.
Just refuse to give a platform to fearmongering is all it would take to get the ball rolling.
Start on rehabbibg the media, Then we might have a chance taking on our own farking government.

Gentlemen, start your War on shiatty Government.

Romney voters have careers, cars, warm houses and determination

Obama voters are penniless double amputees with only free cell phones for comfort.

I predict ....
